"I love seeing you blush," I confessed, feeling a surge of warmth as Julie's cheeks tinted with a delicate shade of pink. "And speaking of sharing, how about I offer you a glimpse into my thoughts?"
Julie's eyes sparkled with curiosity, her interest piqued as she leaned in, eager to hear my words.
"Well, I don't have much, but I've been toying with this piece. It's about the connection shared between two souls through the simple act of touch." I said, attentive in Julie's gaze. i adored being in that gaze, the beautiful brown eyes taking me in. I wanted to be under that gaze forever. "Maybe it can sound something like this" I decided to play around and came up with something on the top of my head.

"You brush against me, I relent,
Your touch, a flame I can't prevent.
With each glance, I find my breath,
In your gaze, I find life's depth.

I need you as my steadfast guide,
In this world's tumultuous tide.
Amidst the chaos they've designed,
You're the clarity in my mind.
In this storm, you're my calm,
In your presence, I find my balm.
Your strength, a beacon blazing true,
Guiding me to skies of azure blue."

As I reached the final stanza, I could see the impact of my words reflected in Julie's eyes, a blend of admiration and appreciation shining brightly within them.

"That was beautiful," she murmured, her voice carrying genuine admiration. "You have such a way with words, Will."

"Thank you," I replied, my heart swelling with gratitude for her appreciation. "I'm glad you think so."

In that moment, surrounded by the hushed whispers of the library and the warmth of Julie's presence, I felt a profound sense of contentment. As we continued to share our thoughts and feelings, I realized how lucky I was to have stumbled upon this unexpected connection. It was a night I would cherish, a memory I would hold dear for a long time to come.
