Back in the day, you were called a "nerd" for role-playing. Your room was decked in Lord of the Rings merchandise, looking much more like that one would guess belonged to an 11-year-old boy. Instead, it was your awesome cave, a 17-year-old girl, with a profound kink for everything and anything fantasy. Having spent roughly a decade playing with a foam sword and shield in LARP, you were just about ready for the apocalypse. It came a lot sooner than anticipated and it was in the form of the infectious fungi that would later be known as the Cordyceps. You were disappointed, to say the least, but you supposed nature taking back the planet was much more of a real-life scenario as opposed to the bloodsucking vampires and brain-hungry zombies you had prepared for in online forums back in the day. Regardless, when the world went to shit you couldn't help but feel the thrill that followed. Game fucking on.
