An old train rumbled through the station. It was still shiny, but clearly a very old model. Seventeen year old Charlotte Conner had been waiting in the abandoned terminal for a few hours now. The train had just come to a stop, and it's only two passengers got off and approached her. The two men were in their mid thirties.
They looked around in confusion at the empty station. Just moments before, all the other passengers had disappeared before their eyes. Now they walked out to meet one young woman and lots of dust. This was very different from nineteenth century England, and clearly not their intended destination.
