Fear Street 1666 is the last and the best part of the horror slasher trilogy. Although Fear Street 1978 is an amazing sequel I didn't include it in this book since we don't get to see our gays much.
The first half of the movie takes place in 1666 and I love that we get to see many of our beloved characters again who died in the previous parts for one last time.
Other than getting to see more of our gays, the thing that made me love it even more is the unexpected plot twist. I also loved the mall scene in the second half that occurs in 1994.
The story of the lesbians in 1666 is very sad and made me cry but we do get a sensual scene with them in 1666. However the film ends on a high note with both our gays surviving and eating cheeseburgers.
All over the horror trilogy had a very satisfying ending and I'm definitely gonna binge watch it in the near future which is very rare for me.
Also the fact that a horror film trilogy where the POC and the queer characters survive until the end and is made by a female director has gained such a huge success truly makes me happy.
