"So how are the pancakes?"

I asked as Tom, tried them, "Perfect, I'm always inviting you for breakfast now," Tom said as he took another bite I chuckled.

"So how is it going with your dear husband? You guys haven't seen each other in a while since the big fight?" Gretchen said and I sighed, "Well it's been a month of not seeing him around, and if you ask me I'm happy with it, as long as we stay our separate ways I'm okay with that," I tell them happily.

"Aren't you gonna eat, Camila?" Gretchen asked as she took a bite of her pancake, I was confused as I looked at her, she pointed at the pancakes that I set aside on the big plate, "What do you mean?" I chuckled.

"I've already had strawberries, I'm not hungry anyway," I said to her. "Camila you haven't eaten a real meal in days, I barely see you eat," Tom says yet don't't bother to care.

"I'm just not hungry that's all, I promise I'll eat later, I'm full," I said yet all I could feel was my empty stomach being upset because I hadn't eaten yet, who am I kidding, I didn't eat strawberries this morning, all I had was just water.

"Anyways I have to go to work," I tell Gretchen and Tom, they nodded and I hugged them before bidding farewell.

"Madam, you have about 20 patients today," My secretary said as soon as I entered the car, "Well as if I haven't handled that much," I smiled at her, and she gave me a worried look.

"You've been taking more shifts than before, are you sure you're okay?" She asked and I nodded, she shrugged the thought off and as we were on the way to the hospital she helped me answer some emails.

Alejandro's Point Of View

It's been days since I saw Camila, she would always come home late, and I'd be already asleep, and in the events, she would always excuse herself saying she was busy.

I didn't want to bother her, but I was worried. "Is she home yet?" I asked the bodyguard who was with her, "Yes, sir, she's home, just arrived exactly five minutes ago." He said and I nodded, I hung up the phone and was ready to leave the office. I left the office swiftly and got in the car and was on the way home.

"She's been so bothered these days, I barely see her at the house," My driver said, I was worried, believe it or not.

Back then she would annoy me yet now, she doesn't even want to do anything with me. The efforts she made back then are now just silence, when she would see me she'd just ignore me and barely say a word.

I reached home, and I got out of the car, Miss Holly was at the foyer and opened the door for me.

"Where's Camila?" I asked her and she pointed upstairs, I nodded gave her my bag, and slowly walked upstairs, I walked over to the bedroom hall and I could hear quiet little sobs and as I walked closer to her room, they got louder.

My heart was beating fast, worried, why was Camila crying? I reached her door and I opened it when I peeked through the small crack I saw Camila on the floor in her silk pajamas with her hair down, near her balcony crying curled up in a little ball, I looked around and saw a few bottles of pills on the floor.

"Camila," I called out for her, as I opened the door fully, she gasped as she saw me, she looked lost, she didn't know what to say, or do.

She was shaking, "What happened?" I approached her, I took the pill bottles, and realized they were empty, it was sleeping pills, in many different variants and they were all empty.

"Did you drink all of these?" I said, she looked at me with tears in her eyes, and her mouth quivered as she was about to speak, "I did, yet my body can't even let me sleep, Alejandro I just wanna sleep," she whispered and sobbed, I quickly pulled her into my arms, she laid there next to me as I embraced her, she just sobbed and sobbed.

"Shhh," I said to her as I patted her back, "Why are you doing this?" I asked her, but she didn't answer and just sobbed. Soon she dialed down and stopped sobbing, it turned into tiny sniffles.

"We need to get you to the hospital, now," I said to her, she nodded and I carried her up,  she clutched my tux tightly.

"Get the car ready!" I shouted at the bodyguards who were waiting in the foyer, they opened the car door and I sat inside, as Camila was in my arms.

Camila's Point Of View

As Alejandro was with me in the car, my head wouldn't stop spinning, my whole body hurt, especially my head. I was trying my best to be awake, yet my eyes were shutting soon. Tears ran down my cheeks yet Alejandro was patting my back softly as she told me not to close my eyes.

"Faster!" He yells at the driver, my ears start ringing as an unbearable pain in my head started, I whimpered loudly, "What's wrong?" Alejandro asked.

"My head, it hurts, badly," I said as I clutched my head, I couldn't handle the pain it was like knives in my head.

"Hang on, Camila." He said as he pulled me closer, yet after that, all I could remember was him trying to wake me up as I fell into darkness.
