     I hid in a corner at the side of the street wailing and disgusted by the husband's action..

      Suddenly I heard shouting and arguments,  I am sure ummi is back and we are already in trouble

     Possibly uncle had cooked up lies for her wife because she's siding him despite his bad act.

Surojah:{to them} if I did not see my daughter you are both done for

Aishah: my husband doesn't know about your daughter's whereabout, stop accusing him wrongly

Surojah: then why did she have to smash him a vase...

Salmah:{rush out and hug her mother} Ummi he.. he..{pointing at the husband and she breaks into sobs}

Surojah:{hugs her tightly} sorry dear, Alhamdulillah he didn't succeed {showing her the bags}as you can see we are leaving here today {to her friend} thanks for the hospitality

Salmah:{controlling the tears} ok ummi

Aishah: Go and never come back, I did you a favour as a friend and the next to repay me is by accusing my husband, leave with your miserable daughter

Surojah:{slaps her fiercely} never in your life speaks ill of my daughter.  I am so proud of her and she's my pride, it's your miserable husband that needs check up..

Aishah: {holding her face and sobbing inwardly }you slapped me..

Surojah: yes and I will repeat it if you tries any nonsense with my jewel again, good day {to her daughter} Darling let's go and move far away from these munaafiq(hypocrites).

     She collects a bag from her mother as they proceed to the city of Kaduna. They leave the house around 7pm so, the street is getting lonely. They wandered around not knowing what to do and where to stay, sooner than they can imagine darkness has came over. They concluded to pass the night in front of a shop as they have no where to sleep and can't afford a hotel.

     As they were about to sleep under the canteen they notice a ray of light flashed towards them and three Touts emerges.

Boy1: what are you doing here by this time of the night??{he notice Salmah}oh boy! See this fair skin lady, I like her and want to taste her

Boy2:{to surojah}madam I can see you have no where to sleep. You can only pass the night here on one condition, you will let me copulate with your daughter or... whosoever she's to you

Surojah:{stands up}Subhanallah,  what are you trying to say, don't you have a tint of Taqwah(fear of God)in you, all because we have no where to sleep and decided to sleep in Front of this shabby shop and you are here blabbering rubbish

Boy3:what are you saying,{to his colleagues} I go light this one oo... See,see i no get Mama so I won't know how it will feel if I beat you.. and nothing fit happen..

     They moves towards Salmah but Surojah quickly stop them.  They were so angry at her that they beat her seriously to the verge of dying, Salmah who rush to her mom crying was grabbed by one of them, as they were about to harm the girl.. Luckily for her a night guard overhead her cries and screams of help. He whistled and the boys knowing who it was quickly run for their safety .
       The night guard chase them and unfortunately they were caught.

Surojah:{groaning in pains}God has his own reasons for every single thing that happens to a man..

Salmah:{crying profusely} Ummi please relax and save all these till when you are alright

Surojah:{faintly} hmm... my daughter do you think I will be alright...
Please promise Ummi to be a good girl and follow the...

Salmah:{cuts her short now crying uncontrollably}ummi stop making me scared,  you are going to be alright inshallah
