The door opened and Laenor walked inside the chambers with a smile on his face
Rhaenyra was walking with the babe in her arms covered in cloth, she walked slowly and carefully as the pain was still there
sweat dripping down from her forehead, and the wet strands of her hair irritating her face
" a girl? " Laenor asks and stops in front of Rhaenyra
placing his one hand on her arm and looking down at the sleeping babe.
His heart swelled with happiness when he saw her beautiful skin and the white locks on her head
Rhaenyra looked down and smiled at their newborn daughter
" she just looks like her mom," He said softly and gently stroked her cheek with the back of his index finger, rhaenyra sighed
" she wants to see her " She exclaimed and began walking out of her chambers
leaving Laenor in doubt but didn't hesitate to follow her immediately, placing his arms around her in a protective yet caring way
" you just gave birth and you should be resting in your bed, I can take her " He protested but Rhaenyra didn't listen.
Laenor sighed as the handmaid and people who walked past them gave them a respectful nod, he sent them a fake smile and stayed beside Rhaenyra
" why does she want to do this? " He whispered, almost like a hiss.
But when they got out of the hallway, Rhaenyra saw how many people were inside the castle
" oh gods " she whispered and they both carefully walked together as the people turned around and saw them,
moving to the side to make away as they lowered their heads. Their eyes stared at the new babe in her arms
It was very painful for Rhaenyra to walk up the stairs just to reach the Queen's chamber, she was tired and she wanted all of this to end.
The door opened and the two do them walked inside, Alicent turned around and looked at her in shock
" Rhaenyra, you should be resting," She said and placed down the papers on her desk.
They both put fake smiles on their faces as Alicent turned to her servant, Talya
" fetch the princess a cushion" She said and walked closer to look at the babe. Rhaenyra insisted but Alicent ignored her protest
She took a seat at the chair, At the same time her king father, King Viserys walked inside the chamber with a smile on his face
" ahh, I heard it's a girl," He said making Rhaenyra look up and smile. Laenor took their child from her arms and turned around to face the king
" let me have her," He said and gently took the baby and smiled
he stared down at the sleeping girl and rocked her.
Alicent was eager to see the truth once again, she walked closer to her husband and made Rhaenyra look at her
Her hand slipped to the cloth and pulled it down to reveal the silver locks that the babe had on her skin and the mixed features of the prince and princess. She swallowed the lump in her throat and closed her hands together
" what's her name? " Viserys asks, Alicent watches as the couple share a look
" Viserra... Vissera Velaryon " Rhaenyra answered and smiled tiredly
" that's a perfect name for a girl " The king says.
Alicent smiled as she continued watching her husband before taking the babe in her arms and walking away
Laenor followed her behind, not trusting the queen enough as Rhaenyra walked over to King Viserys
" I'm proud of you "

"There she is, " Rhaenys said in happiness
as she walked over to her son and stared down at the babe before taking her in her arms. Rhaenys couldn't help but not to smile when the girl opened her eyes and that revealed her purple orbs
She was happy when hearing the news that it wasn't a bastard at all, that it was the trueborn daughter of her son Laenor and Rhaenyra.
" Corlys, take a look at her" She said and turned to her husband.
He nodded and walked over to them, staring down at the babe who smiled at him
" Now that's a true princess" He said in a joking way a
s Laenor chuckled and Rhaenyra smiled while carrying the one-year-old Jacaerys on her hips
Their family was complete, she could never been happier to have her children beside her. Her duties as a mother changed her life, each time she spent her time with them, Rhaenyra felt safe and happy whenever she saw them.
Jacaerys also begins to love her new sister, when they are playing together while the septa watch, he leans down to place a kiss on her forehead.
To say, Viserra was an angelic babe that the god's gift. She wasn't fussy or hard to take care unlike the other babes and Rhaenyra is thankful about it
Vissera is quiet but loves to smile and stare at people with those big eyes of hers, she began to chew on her hands, and sleep on her own
" We have a wonderful gift for our granddaughter" Corlys says as one of their handmaidens comes
holding a large black pot through the stick.
They gently placed it down on the ground and opened the lid to reveal the black dragon egg inside the warming chamber
" Meleys lay an egg the day that Vissera was born, we wanted to gift the egg for her " Rhaenys explained
making Rhaenyra and Laenor smile
" That's a wonderful gift, your grace. I'm sure that Vissera and her dragons will have a perfect bond in the future, thank you " She says.

Rhaenyra was watching her daughter sleep in her arms while they were sitting on her bed, she smiled and placed a kiss on her forehead.
