It was at a cafe, he said he wanted to talk about something important today. I was dumb enough to think it was something amazing but...
"Sorry Katie, but I found a better girl than you..."
The moment I heard that, I was about to cry.. but I can't. I'm in public, it's too embarrassing to cry... Stay calm... How did this happen?
"Oh.. it's okay, have fun with your new girl I guess."
"Sorry, here's my final gift for you." He then hands me a necklace, I'll wear this until I get a new boyfriend.
"Gotta go, bye Katie."
Why? Why did this happen to me? Why me? I don't understand at all...
At School
"Hey Katie, what's wrong?"
"I just got dumped by my boyfriend, he said he found a better girl than me..."
"Hey, I heard that Ray also got dumped!"
"Really? I'll go ask him."
As I was walking towards him, he looked really sad. I guess Jenny was right.
"Hey Ray, did you get dumped recently?"
"Yeah..."
"When?"
"Yesterday."
The same as me? No, it must be a coincidence.. right?
"Me too, I also got dumped yesterday..."
"Really? Hah! Now I feel better hearing that I'm not the only one!"
Well I'm glad he's back to his usual self, I don't really want to see him sad. Not like I like him or anything, since I'm his best friend after all.
"Hey Katie, I heard there's a party on Sunday. Wanna come together?"
"Yeah, sure! We can eat and complain together."
"Right??"
I guess it's fine if I still have my best friend on my side.
Sunday
"Yo!" He said, and I said the same thing to him. We entered and were greeted by loud music, people dancing, drinking, and wacky stuff.
"Pretty crowded right?"
"Yeah.."
We tried to find an empty table, it was so crowded that we had to hold hands. Not like I was embarrassed, we used to do this all the time as kids! (thinking about the old times)
We found an empty table, finally. As we were going to the table, we saw some familiar faces. We forgot about the table and tried to see who they were, they look REALLY familiar.
"Wait.. my EX????" We said together; we had a shocked expression, turns out my ex is going out with Ray's ex? Oh I'll make him jealous and make him regret leaving me. (Ray was thinking the same thing)
"HEY, WANNA FAKE BEING IN A RELATIONSHIP SO THEY'RE JEALOUS??" We said together.
"OF COURSE, LET'S GO!!!" We said together, again.
"Hey Chester, how's it going with your girlfriend? I instantly found a cute boy and started dating him. I'm also making profit everyday (lie)! Jealous?"
