0004. THE GROUP PROJECT
KAIA LETS OUT a sigh as she and Ashlyn were making their way towards their class, though their walk was interrupted as a loud voice called out to them, "Kaia! Dodge!"
The dark haired girl just barely managed to react in time to dodge the shoe that flew at her head as she stumbled into Ashlyn's side, the two girls watching as it was imbedded in the wall behind her.
"Sorry, Kaia!" Taylor shouted out towards her, laughing as she waved at the dark haired girl who was still in Ashlyn's arms as Kaia forced a smile to her lips.
"It's fine!" She forced a laugh to leave her lips as she pulled away from Ashlyn, knowing the girls dislike for people being in her personal space. Taylor grinned at her, waving one last time before she turned back to recording her brother being picked up by one of the other baseball boys.
Ashlyn sighed as she and Kaia shared another look before silently continuing their way towards their shared first period class. The two quickly found it and stopped before it as they both made sure it was the right one. "It says 201, right?"
"Yeah." Ashlyn replied just as the sound of someone fumbling with the schedule behind them echoed out before they yelped as they dropped their paper.
Kaia glanced back just as Ashlyn leans down to pick up the schedule of the boy behind them. Kaia couldn't remember the boy's name, but she recognized him from the floral shop in town. Kaia's never really spoken to him beyond the occasional polite smile and wave.
