AUTHOR'S POV
~MUMBAI, INDIA~
"Shivansh Sir please Ghar vapas chaliye surekha madam bahut upset hain or apko pata Hain bo apke liye kitna tension karti hain"
(Shivansh sir please let's go home you know how much madam surekha worries about you and she's also very upset)
A polite request slips out of shivansh's secretary Abhishek's lips after he informs Shivansh about his mother surekha's condition
"Abhishek I have already informed Ma and everyone eles in my family that I will not leave this mandir until he (pointing towards the shivling) returns me my gauri back so please leave when I m asking politely or you want bullets to pass your skull"
Abhishek gulps with terror knowing his boss might be sad and broken at the moment after his girlfriend's death but he could still pass bullets in his skull because shivansh always carries a gun along
Abhishek gulps and walks away from the mandir and informs Shivansh's family that his attempt has also failed
It's been 6 days, almost a week after gauri's death but shivansh was still not accepting her death and he didn't eat anything, he would just drink some water that too once a day or twice a day and would sit infront of the shivling waiting for his gauri back but there was no name of her afterall she was no longer in that world
Shivansh stands up when he feels his head spinning and throat drying
Who'd believe someone in the 21st century could still love so purely
Shivansh starts walking in the backside of the temple till he reaches the small lake from where he drinks water
It was 3pm in the afternoon and it was extremely sunny and hot so no one was around
Shivansh bent down to gather some water with the help of his palms but the moment he bends down his head spins and accidentally his leg slips, he loses his control and he falls into the lake
~BHALGARH~
"It's all because of that ministers daughter gauri if she wasn't engaged to our prince nothing bad would have happened to him"
"Yes yes, you are right she's such a bad luck for our prince and Kingdom, it's all because of her dead father, God knows where the prine has gone no one is able to find him, some says he's kidnapped by our rival Kingdoms"
"Yes she's even bad luck for her parents even they died because of her and that father of her he asked king to make her the prince's first wife which king agreed and that's why all the kingdom is suffering from her bad luck"
"I told you she's one bad luck even the prince hates her and never looks at her,he only likes the princess of rajgarh"
"Hope the prince returns and throws her away from our kingdom"
Gauri wipes the tears which are running down her cheeks because of the things said by the maids and cooking staff of the royal kitchen
Gauri doesn't even utter a word and walks into the kitchen which makes everyone turn silent like they were not even talking about her some minutes ago
A helper walks towers gauri to help her asking what she needs but gauri just denies and fills the empty jug she was carrying and walks away silently but as soon as she reaches her chember her tears starts flowing again making her vission blurry
The jug slips from her hold and she falls infront of the small mandir (temple) in her room
She makes her forehead rest upon the feet of her deity "Shree krishna"
She cries her heart out making the sculpture of her deity's feet wet with her tears when the water from the jug forms a half circle around her
"Tell me kanha (Nickname of shree Krishna) am I really bad luck? Tell me please, did prince go missing because of me? Did I kill my parents? Am i such a bad luck that everyone hates me, only rajmata (the queen) and Raja ji (the king) doesn't hate me but if their son doesn't come back they'll also hate me kanha, please kanha send him back, send him back to me I really love him, I have accepted him as my husband and now I can not live with the guilt that i killed my soon to be husband after my parents, please kanha if I am really a bad luck then it should be me who's going away not him please send him back kanha please........"
Gauri cries and keeps crying her heart out till her throat dries and she starts running out of breath
She starts hiccupping but she still keeps chanting only one thing that is too send the prince back and even god's heart melts watching the poor girls condition
Gauri was at the verge of fainting when she hears the door of her chember opening and the words she heeds next leaves her with surprise and joy
"Gauri baisa (sister) prince is back, the soldiers found him in the nearby lake of the Shiv temple"
Exclaimed gauri's personal helper and childhood friend Shivani but Shivani halted with her steps witnessing the mess around gauri
"What? They found him? Prince is here ? Is he okay, my kanha has sent him back to me ?oh kanha thank you so much, tell me Shivani is he okay? He's not injured anywhere right?"
Gauri questioned nonstop which made Shivani forget her own question about the mess and answer quickly
"He's okay gauri baisa, he's not injured or anything but he's just behaving a little oddly and saying weird language and wearing some weird clothing uhm let's go you see it yourself........."
With that Shivani started pulling gauri towards the area where the 'prince' was sitting on a chair with his head between his hold as if he's tired of everything and everyone around him the king queen and other ministers was sorrounding him along with some helpers
Gauri takes slow steps not knowing if the prince will like to see her or not because even after they were engaged the prince had never treated her nicely or mostly just ignored her but she miserablely fails because of her anklets making noises which makes the 'prince' look up right into her eyes and she shivers thinking he'll shout at her
But
Shocking everyone present in the big area he gets up from his seat and walks towards her as fast as possible which makes gauri look down with scared eyes but soon her eyes opens widely when she feels a pair of lips crashing on her soft ones.
