~Location: Chris's House~
~3rd Person POV~
We cut to the next morning and we see the two hedgehogs relaxing on the roof, while Chris was talking on the phone with somebody
??? (Phone): I'm sorry. Filming has been delayed because of the constant rainy weather so I don't think I can return home till next week. But as a token of my apology... I'll send your presents soon by air
Chris: Okay
??? (Phone): I got you your favorite, cotton candy, too
Chris: Thank you!
Chris starts to look up at the roof where the two hedgehogs were relaxing
Chris: Actually... there's something I have to apologize to you about.
The person on the phone start to sound concerned
??? (Phone): What is it?
Chris: It's about my promise with you... about not going outside after midnight and staying away from the adult pool
The person on the phone gains a stern voice. At the same time, a butler comes and places a tray of food down on the outside table for Chris
??? (Phone): Did you swim at that time of night?
Chris: No, it's not that. I helped a couple of drowning cats
Y/n and Sonica glare down at the boy, insulted that they've been called the wrong species
??? (Phone): I see. It's all right. I'm not angry at you. You're so kind, Chris. Goodbye
Chris blushes and kisses the phone goodbye, rubbing his head in embarrassment. The two hedgehogs jump down from the roof to get to Chris's level
Sonya: Were the two cats supposed to be us?
Chris: Y-Yeah. Are you two angry at me?
The green hedgehog responded to the question with an aggressive question of his own
Y/n: Do I look like a damn cat to you, kid?
Chris: W-Well, you see, she wouldn't understand if I said I saved two hedgehogs
Y/n: I don't get what's so confusing about it
Chris: Because hedgehogs are supposed to be much smaller
Chris cups his hands to emphasize how small hedgehogs were on this world
Chris: Maybe this big at most?
Sonya: Huh?
Chris looks at the two hedgehogs with excitement
Chris: You two are special. Both of you are larger than normal and can talk too! Where and when did you learn to speak
Sonya scratches her head to help herself think of an answer and Y/n grits his teeth while looking away
Sonya: I wonder... I don't remember something so long ago. How about you, Y/n?
