VEERA POV.
I pull open the door to the walk in shower.
The beast resists as I pull him in.
I get out, and shut the beast in the walk in shower/bathtub.

I go into the pantry, and find shampoo and conditoner specially for him.
I take it out, and decide to smell it.

I gag, and set it down.

I walk away from it, and walk back to the pantry.
I grab the wolf shampoo, the dragon polish, and the tiger cleaner.
I grab some wing oils, and combine them according to how much he looks like each animal.

Then, I pour in coconut oils for extra health and some vanilla for a nice scent.

I smell it, and decide it's decent enough,
I put it into a spritz bottle, becuase it's the same consistency of hairspray.

I grab a detanger on my way, along with clippers and a variety of brushes.

I walk back to Delta, and I get to work on making him presentable again.

I grab the shower head, thankful I can move it around via the cord.
It's deluxe, with high pressure.

I start off with cool water, and Delta seems not to mind.
As the water gets hotter, slowly, he begins to get excited.

He seems happy, and he wags his spikey tail.
I dodge it as I reach for the brush and clippers.
I grab a clump of the dirt, and take as much out as I can.
Then, when I see how bad it is underneath, put the clippers back.
I can't even see to cut. Never mind what colour he is.

We work at it for what feels like years, but then, in a quick shake, all the rest of the mud from his head and body fall to the floor.

I begin to brush, insisting on using the detangler.

I spritz and brush, and occasionally dodge a nip from a hurting Delta.

I hear a voice demanding I open the door.

I hop out of the tub, soaked in detangler, mud, and dirty water.
My hair is all over the place, and my back is sore.
I open the door, and come face to face with the woman from before.
Another girls is with her, but this one seems to hold all the authority.
The secound woman asks, "You claimed to have bonded to 67?"
I nod.
I reply, standing taller, "His name is Delta. And yes, I did."

She snaps, "Why do you think he wants you?"

I reply, stepping forward, "He called me and he trusts me. Why else? I can tell we have something..."
The first girl glares daggers.
The secound girl chirps gravely, "Then it's settled. Veera, you train the beast."
Then, they leave and slam the door.
I lock it, and cheer as I rush back to finish cleaning Delta.

I cry, "Guess what, Delta?"
He growls, hate in his eyes, "Please. Find me a different name."
I pause, then reply, "Fine. Then your new name is Geode. It's a rock that looks pretty rough on the outside, but doesn't look too bad on the inside. Like you and these blasted knots and mud!"

He sighs, and get back to work.

I lightly tug out knots and mats, and try not to hurt him.

I eventually hear a disgruntled grunt, and Geodes' head snaps back to help get the knots out.
He makes quick work of everything I miss, and by supper we're knot free.

I sigh, determined to finish it all in one day, "Now, the actual cleaning."

For this, Geode did not coperate.
He jumps away, and snarls.

When we're done, I grab the blow drier and a clean brush.
I brush him as the blow drier dries him off.

When we're done and he's back on leash ready to go, a knock sounds on the door.

A bunch of my luggage appears in the room, along with a note.

It reads, "Dear Veera, your village was burnt to the ground by an arson. You now live here. You will spend the entire day working your animal(s) and cleaning up after them. You also need to name hin/her/it."

Geode asks, "Can we go outside to the exercise feild when we get you unpacked?"

I nod, and we head for the front desk with my bags.
Geode helps me carry it by insisting on dragging the suit case on casters by the telescopic handle.

We exit the bathroom, and half the trainers back up in confusion.
Then they see the license dangling from the collar fixed around his neck that came in the luggage.

One cries, "67! She is trying to train 670904057!"

The hall fills, and we struggle to reach the front desk.

Geodes' fur turned out to be a dark blueish black that shines whenever he moves.

He growls as the people and instructors file in.
We find the front desk, and the girl hands me the keys to room 67.
They also have a skull and crossbones.

A boy laughs to his friends, and then reaches to touch Geode.
I pull Geode back as he lunges for a nice human hand for a snack.
The boy rips his hand away from Geodes' angry jaws.
The lady at the front desk comments, "Keep him in your room. It's safer. Especially with him."

I stroke Geode defensively.
The crowd silences in shock.
Many whisper, "How is she doing that?"

I scratch his head, and we go to a map on the walls.

Dorms are the buildings to the left and right.
Girls are left, and guys are right.

I head left after exiting with Geode by my side on his trusty leash.

I imagine we're quite the sight.
I'm in casual jeans and a grey hoodie, and Geodes shining midnighf blue fur.

What really suprises me is that the only white on him is the whites of his eyes and his teeth.

A woman in a police uniform stops me at the door.

She barks, "NAME! DORM NUMBER!"

I reply, equally as agressive, "VEERA! 67!"

She opens a gate I never saw before, and a buzzer calls.

She lets me go in, and hands me an ID card.

I notice instead of an image of me, it has a "BT". I assume it means beginner trainer.
Here's a quick pic of it:
