Here’s to girls who

Go through every day

With a smile

Pleastered on their face.

Here’s to girls who

Look in the mirror

And don’t like

What they see

Here’s to girls who

Go to sleep

With broken hearts

On tear-stained pillows

Here’s to girls who

Deserve to be happy but

Don’t always get

What they should

Here’s to girls who

Are like you and me

They aren’t happy right now

But one day they will be
