Hey loves! Today, I'll be sharing with you the answer to a few frequently asked questions, and spilling the beans on my weird but still pretty awesome writing process. Let's dive right in!

FAQ: Where did you get the idea for Keep You Forever?

Answer: I get asked a lot about how this story originated, and how I built my characters up: basically my entire writing process.

The truth is, I get a lot of my story ideas through songs. This case isn't any different.

When I listened to Polaroid for the first time, in my head, there was only one picture. Two people walking through a sleeping town at night, singing at the top of their lungs and capturing each other in photographs.

Yes, I built an entire story on that picture.

That story goes by the name of Keep You Forever.

Here are a few cliche but amazing elements I used in my story:

FAQ: The Development of Asher Prince

A lot of people ask me if Asher is, in fact, based on a crush or someone in my life. The answer is, hell no.

I mean, if I had that guy, I know I wouldn't be wasting my time writing hopelessly romantic stories.

(i would be busy somewhere else, if you know what I mean ;))

FAQ: Is Lissa like you?

Yes. Yes. Yes.

Lissa isn't like me.

She IS me. Lissa is exactly like me, and basing a character upon myself made me realise a lot about how I react in certain situations, which improved my overall understanding of myself.

Do we look alike, though?

Nope.

Short answer: no.

There is a reason the ending was open ended--I don't think I left any loose strings to tie in a second book.
