Nothing makes flight time go faster than writing! I'm once again at a conference, and I hardly noticed the lift off and the landing. And here is the result:

I AM BACK, my darlings!
          
          With most of medical emergencies in my extended family if not resolved than at least addressed; and us having returned from vacation; I'm back in the saddle! And we're venturing into the dark and stormy world of Bran House!

          I've been called in to work from the office for a couple of weeks, which, I thought, might leave me less time to write; but instead, I found my commute rather inspiring! I get to read in peace for an uninterrupted 20-min chunk of time (which never happens!) and to listen to music. Such luxury!
          
          I'm also going to be send to yet another conference next week for three days, which means several hours of writing on a plane! So, the writing prospects are brilliant!
          
          I hope you haven't completely given up on me and that you enjoy the new chapter!

          I know I've gone sort of AWOL; and unfortunately, it might last for a bit more. I've had two medical emergencies happen in my family in the last month; on top of some big changes at my workplace, which keep me busy and a bit concerned about my work prospects. All and all, it's been quite rough; and my wonderful plan of finishing Jackie's story and plunging into the Gothic mystery is currently on the back burner. 
          
          Please wait for me. I'll be back in a couple of weeks.

My darlings,
          
          When I started writing the next chapter of "Her Melting Point" (now posted https://www.wattpad.com/1437798717-her-melting-point-coming-home) I realised that it would be either the last or the penultimate one. There isn't much more to tell in Jackie's story, I feel like it's come to a smooth and satisfying conclusion. So, here's one last little cliffhanger - and our Bedroom Capybara and her Wolverine will be heading to their Happily Ever After!
          
          We will still see them in the fantasy version of their story; but my imagination is already galloping away into the next story - the Gothic mystery of Bran House!

          Just letting you know that I've had family visiting for the past two weeks; and thus, we had so few updates. But now I'm finally free! My house is quiet and empty, and everything is in its place, just as I like it. Can you tell that I'm autistic? LOL So, onwards with updates!
