What's the most memorable romantic gesture you've ever received or witnessed in real life?

TheGracefulOne

@Romance My earliest memory of a romantic-ish gesture stems from childhood at school during recessive after a lunch break. I was wearing a new long skirt my mom had bought me (though I probably should've worn it on a weekend instead looking back) and I remember it being made of stiff denim. I was so intent on outrunning one of my best friends with a long streak of victories that I was so jealous of him, and my skirt didn't allow me to run fast, so it caused me to fall on the concrete ground and I landed pretty hard. Of course, drops of blood dripped from my knee and right elbow. Fortunately, with a staff member's help who happened to be nearby and saw what happened, my childhood friend freaked out at my bloody mess and urged the school nurse to hurry with bandaging my wounds. After that, he watched over me and didn't ask me for a rematch. We've been best friends ever since. If anything really, just his concern for me alone really won a special place in my heart, haha.

@Romance after a trip, I got home and realised that I'd lost a ring my mum had given me at a service station. It wasn't expensive but I loved it. My husband drove back and went to every service station we'd stopped at. He eventually found it but it was badly damaged. Over a couple of weeks, he fixed it up as best he could. A year later, he gave me the same ring for my birthday. He'd spent the year searching for one to replace the damaged one.

@romance: I was at the playground listening to my favorite song "perfect by Ed Sheeran" ñ my love my gf (ex now) suddenly showed up. Can't forget that, she arrived the moment I needed her the most.
