A di fact seh mi did affi pull out the first one fi comb it out so it can finally cooperate.

Picking up my belt I put it on and grab my bag to head downstairs. I place my bag on the couch before walking to the kitchen to make myself something to eat.

Taking out a small frying pot I crack two eggs frying them. After taking them out the pot I fry three slices of spam and a couple slices of plantains maling sure to keep most of my attention on them.

Sandwiching the content I wash the pot on the sink and put it up and then took a mug to mix my hot chocolate.

"Tek yuh time wid e lasco nuh fren"

Mi buy it suh nobody cya too seh nth

Sitting around the island I put my food fown before bowing my head. After praying I bite into my sandwich while looking at my phone screen. I boringly scroll through TikTok and became alert when the hairs on the back of my neck rose.

"Taé mi will rearange yuh skull eno don't ramp wid mi," I side eye Isaiah ad he moves from behind me with a frown from his failed attempt of scaring me.

"So wah mi nuh eat yuh couldn't mek some fimi?" he asked sulking.

"Yuh might can get some but yuh affi drive mi go school," I grin as he eyes me before nodding his head.

Giving him the extra sandwich I had I wash my plate and mug drying my hands off with the towel.

"Ready now?" he asks devouring the last piece of the sandwich. Nodding my head I pick up my bag and phone heading up to my mother's room.

Pushing the door open I walk in on my sleeping mother. Gently I nudge her trying to wake her.

"Mommy," I say softly but flinch when she jolts up breathing like she just ran a marathon and looking all over the place as if trying to figure out where she is.
