I thought of you on my busy Monday morning
I thought of you when I was about to speak
I thought of you when I looked in the mirror
When all I hear is your plead
I thought of you when I catch my breath
When I'm barely doing anything
I thought of you when I smiled at my coffee
When I knew this could be my death
I used to sleep like clockwork, so mundane
Now I can't even force myself to close my eyes
And I stare at the hickies on my neck
When I know I want to do it again
