The Dragneel family was asleep in the house but suddenly Nashi woke up and ran in her mother and father's bedroom. She had a nightmare crying her big bubbly eyes out, sobbing. Lucy rubbed her eye and saw this bringing her baby into her arms. She tried to shush her to sleep in a motherly instinct. The child was scared spewing things about monsters under the bed and how they were going to take them away from her. Natsu stretched rubbing his eyelids hearing her little cries. He frowned but he took her into his warm embrace as well and soothingly told her he'd beat those mean old monster's to a pulp if they ever mess with her. She sniffled and crawled in the middle of them wanting her parents comfort. Both adults pulled the covers over her and went back to sawing logs after reassuring their kid for the night.
