I woke up at around 11 o'clock, went out of bed, put some clothes on and went downstairs. 'Morning.' i said to my mom, she was sitting at the dining table.
'Morning Nicky.' she said. I walked to the kitchen counter to make some tea,
'You were going to that Ball tonight right?'
'Oh uhmn yeah.' I said.
'Ok, so what time?'
'Well it starts at eight, so ill probly leave at quarter till eight.'
'Do you need me to make diner before?' She asked.
'Uhmm yeah, that would be nice.' I walked with my tea to the table, 'Mum,'
I said,
She looked at me, 'Whats up?'
'I know you dont know much about it, but like, i think i want to tell Charlie i like him.'
'Oh baby, come here.' Then she hugged me tight, 'Are you sure?'
'I mean i think i do realy like him, and i dont want to regret not saying anything at all.' I said letting go a lil from the hug
'Oh i love you so much.'
'Uhmm, well i realy gotta go get my suit and make my homework.'
'Ok, succes Nicky. Hey and if you dont say it, thats ok too.'
'I know but i realy want to.'
'Ok. Love you.'
'I love you too.'
Then i left the room, went upstairs got my suit from the closet, and hung it out. Then i sat at my table and sighed, i picked up my homework looked at it and picked up a pen. Then i flew it open and started making it, when i was done it was already two o'clock, "Did i do so long over that?" I thougt to myself, then i stood up and sat down immediately
"Nope too dizzy." I sat down for a few more minutes, and then stood up again, i walked to the mirror, looked at it and started talking to myself.
'Hey Charlie, so uhmm, i wanted to tell you something, i like you' No i cant say that.
'Uhmm i like you. No no i cant start like that.'
'So what do you think about unicorns? Wait what?'
'I i i ugh'
'I want to kiss you. I didnt even say an opening.' Then i leaned my head against the mirror, 'You ok?' my mum stood at the door.
'Yeah im fine.'
'You sure?'
I set up a fake smile, 'Yes im ok.'
'Ok,' then she walked away. And i let myself fall on my bed, closed my eyes and before i knew it, i was sleeping.
'Nicky, wake up you need to go to the Ball.' I heard a voice say, i woke up and saw my mum standing at my bedside table. 'Whats the time?' I said sleepy.
'Its seven.'
'WHAT. Uhmm yeah id better get ready.'
'Ok Nicky.' She turned to the door.
'Hey mom?'
'Yeah Nick?' She said turning back.
'Did i miss diner?'
'Oh yeah, sorry i didnt want to wake you. If you want i can get you some bread?'
'Thanks' i said smiling tired. Then she left, and i stood up and put on my suit, then i did my hair, and went downstairs
'Here you go.' My mum said handing me the bread.
'Thanks.' I looked at the clock 'I gotta go, love you mom.'
'Love you Nicky.'
Then i walked out of the door, and walked to the hotel. When i came there it was already loaded with people, i went into the dance room to look for Charlie then i saw him and walked up to him. 'I was searching for you,' We said at the same time
'Uhm hi.'
'Hi.' I said happy 'You came'
'Well yeah, you asked me to.' He said
'Uhmm lets stand here.' I said
'Yeah'
Then we walked to the side of the room, we looked at the people dancing. And there was a awkward silence. This was the first time we didnt have something to say, then he did something, something that suprised me. He touched my hand, and i didnt pull back, 'Come on.' I said and we walked round a corner where no one was, and nobody saw us.
'I like you,' He said 'Its ok if you dont-'
'Charlie,'
'-and im sorry if i make things awkward between us now-'
'Charlie,'
'-but i just wanted you to know-'
Then i kissed him. I properly kissed him
'I like you too.' I said leaning my head against his.
So sometimes dreams arent just dreams.
