Chris pov
"Do we leave him here" Matt questioned
"He's slept here before, he's fine" nick said
"I can still hear you guys" I mumbled
"Whoops" Matt said under his breath as I heard their footsteps go off in different directions
I stayed on the couch
I was trying to sleep but I couldn't, something felt off.
I laid on my back and stared at the ceiling
Then my phone buzzed on the coffee table
I glanced at it, maybe it's y/n I thought
I reached over and looked at the screen and it was y/n!
She messaged me and said "I can't sleep"
Me either" I sent back
"I need to tell you" she said
I freaked out for a moment before she clarified
"I'm on my way to ur place right now" she sent
I chuckled lightly and messaged her back "sounds good I'll unlock the door"
She send me a thumbs up emoji and I immediately got up and went to unlock the door
Then I went back to the couch and laid down again
A couple minutes later I heard the door open and shut and the lock turned
"Chris" y/n whispered coming up the stairs
"Here" I whispered back, the house was dark
"Couch" she questioned
"Yep" i said
I heard her footsteps over to me and then she laid down on top of me
"Hi" I said quietly
"Howdy" she giggled wrapping her arms around me tightly
"Why can't you sleep" i asked quietly as I played with her hair
"You weren't there" she said quietly "and I 'm not tired enough"
I chuckled lightly "I couldn't sleep either" I said
"Because of me?" She questioned
"Because of you" I smiled
"Awh you like all that corny shit at heart, I know you do" she gushed squeezing me tighter
"Only for you ma" i said kissing the top of her head
"This is what I needed" she said quietly as she grew tired
As did I "me too" I said my eye kids growing heavy
"Goodnight Chris"
"Goodnight y/n"
