-Devin POV-
On our way back, she finally woke up.
We stopped real quick so she could fully wake up.
"...What...what happened?" she asked.
"Um.."
I didn't know what to say to her.
"What?...Did I do something?" she asked.
"No..-"
"Yes...you did" James said.
I pulled James to the side, "What are you doing?"
"Telling her the truth...No more lies" he said as he went away.
"The truth is...well do you remember anything from when we left the village?" he asked her.
"...All I remember is helping a little a girl..then I went to go find her...after that I remember nothing" she said.
I looked at James, hoping he wouldn't tell her...
"I see" he said.
"Is she okay?" she asked.
"No, she isn't...you...you killed her" He said.
She put her hands over her mouth.."I-I killed her...No I couldn't have"
James continued and said "yes..you did"
I wanted him to stop, but I would only be getting in the way.
As he was trying to calm her down, I sensed something, and it wasn't good.
When I looked around, from a distance I could see and army coming towards us.
"There she is" someone yelled as they picked up there pace.
I looked at Lexi and put her on my back.
"Let's go" then We started running.
When we finally lost them, we were approaching the castle at last.
"But how did you lose them and manage to get back?" He asked.
"Lets just say I know my ways around"
When we had walked in, the King and Queen had approached us.
"Your back safely" The Queen said.
Lexi didn't say a word, she didn't even look at them.
Without hesistation she got off my back and walked out the main hall.
"I'm guessing the journey didn't go to well" King said.
Me and James bowed.
"No your majesty. I'm afraid to tell you that many things went on during this journey" James said.
Then we both explained what happened.

When we were done explaining the King and Queen looked troubled.
"I knew this day would eventually come" King said.
"Wait...what do you mean you knew?"
"I guess I got explaining to do" he said.
