Chapter 5 - One Girl

Leah is currently go to the hospital with her mom and asked me to just dropped her car and wait for her at her house but I told her that I have a headache. My head is hurting because the ball that hit me when I had P.E

I'll go check on her at night..

I walked through the hallway and find students making their way out from the school. I plug my earphone and walked out from school. My eyes landed on Joey who is currently making out with a blonde who asked if we were dating.

I walked to the parking lot and got into Leah's car. I sighed big time and rest my head on the steering wheel. I have a headache and my heart is not working well too.

I start the car and drive away from school.. I go to Leah's house and dropped the car there. I ordered an uber and go hom after that. Throwing my body to bed when suddenly my phone rings and it's an unknown number

"Hello?" I answered

"Valentine" it's Joey

"What do you want? How did you get my number?" I asked

"Buy me 2 burgers in and out and then 2 animal fries" He ordered

"I'm tired"

"Do it Valentine , you lose suck it up" He said and I find myself getting up from my bed. I didn't answer anything

"Valentine?"

"Okay" I ended the call and find myself taking my mom's car to go to in and out. Buying what Joey wants and go to his house. How did I know his house?

We once have a project together and we all go to his house so I knew. I drive and park outside his house. Press the door bell and waiting for him to come out.

"Val? What are you doing here?" Joseph asked

"This" I raised the plastic bag

"He's crazy.." I gave him the plastic bag and gestured him to get in

"Val your face is so pale" Josh said

"I'm fine"

"Joey is sick for making you do this" Josh said and I just shrugged

"I lose the bet so I have to do this"

"You're sick.. let me drive you home" He offered and I shook my head

"Just go inside and enjoy it.. I'm fine Josh , thankyou for worrying" I smiled weakly

"No no.. Let me put this inside first" He run inside and my head is hurting. I don't know why this happen

"You're sick" I opened my eyes and see Joey standing there looking at me

"I'm fin-"

"Why didn't you tell me earlier?" I looked at him disbelief , I've told him that I'm tired. I don't have the energy to argue with him right now so I just shut my mouth

"Give me the car keys" He said

"No thanks.. I'm fine" I said but he stole the car keys from my hand. He walked to the car and entering the driver seat , I got into the seat beside him.

"Just go inside Joey , I don't want to fight or argue with you right now" I said as I looked at him but he doesn't say anything. He started the car and drive away from his house.

I closed my eyes and I felt Joey's hand on my forehead checking me. I opened my eyes and saw him looking at the road seriously

"Are you mad at me? You're acting weird" I said and he turned to me for a split second

"No"

"You're acting cold"

"I'm just not in the mood" He said and I nodded , I looked outside and suddenly it's start to rain. The rain is slowly getting heavy and heavier. I pulled my feet up to the seat and hugging my knee

"Go take a rest after this , eat a medicine" Joey said and I turned to him

"Yeah" We both stay silent again and I find this is really weird. Everything is weird..

Joey is being nice by driving me back home and the fact now it's raining makes me wonder how he's going to go home. My heart is not helping me.. I have a headache and I think I will have a heart attack if my heart won't calm down.

"Do you hate me?" I asked that and it came from my mouth without my control , I turned to him

"I never hate you.. why do you ask that?" He asked

"Because we never got into a day without a fight , argue and pranking each other" I said and set my eyes straight on the rain that drops on the window

"You're the one who hates me not me"

"You're right , I hate you. I hate you because you make my life miserable" I said truthfully

"Good thing that I mess your mind and your life. That's my goals from the start" I looked at him disbelief

"You're a jerk" I said and he chuckled , I find myself smiling secretly as I heard him chuckling

"I am a jerk , I thought you already know that"

"When I took Tony's bag , there's a photo of Taylor in it. I thought you were spying on Taylor like a creep" I said and he laughed

"Why? Are you jealous?" That slapped me..

"Jealous? Yeah right. Like I will ever like you.. or see you as a man" I laughed it off

"Tony and Taylor already date for months and here you are thinking I like my friend's girlfriends. I'm not that kinda guy"

"You're a playboy Joey , you makeout with a tons of girls" I stated

"Are you jealous? Why are you so cold saying that?" Shoot!

"Jealous? I won't be jealous because of you Joey , not in a million years" I said and he laughed

"When I like a girl , I always treat her special. No need to be a creeper like Tony" That interest me , I turned to him

"Have you even like a girl? You're a playboy. Changing girls like changing clothes"

"Of course Valentine.. I might be a playboy who makeout with tons of girl but I only have one girl here" He pointed at his heart and I laughed

"How can you have one girl there while you're not even fight for her? Instead of trying to approach her , you already give her a wrong idea by making out with other girls" I said and he sighed

"She doesn't even look at me Valentine , I've been fighting for her but she never look at me. There are times when I want to give up but I can't" I want to know who she is

"Oh come on Joey , I might be your enemy but at least I want you to be happy.. Fight for her.. Give up when you already do your best and drop the last drop of blood" I said and patting his arm , he turned to me laughing

"Nice advice love doctor but I don't take a lame advice"

"I'll kill you when we're arrive!" I glared at him hard
