CH 34 TRAINING IN PROGRESS

Jake's POV,

I looked at Emily, and then at Kira,
'Sorry, Kira I can't hurt her' I said, raising my hands in surrender,

I can barely keep myself under control, when I hug her, kiss her or bed her, careful enough not to break her bones, or push her too hard,

And, the bloodlust, the night before, whenever I kissed her neck, it took all the control in me, to resist, drinking from her,

And now that I have imprinted her,
I couldn't forget the taste of her, sweet, metallic blood, it's taste still lingered in my mouth,

I restrict my emotions, because a vampire, has heightened emotions, Emily has no idea how it is like for a vampire finding his mate,

I can't even think about fighting or hurting her, no way.

I looked at Emily, she was looking down, she was thinking about something.

'Jake, you don't have to hurt her just fight her, if she fights right she won't get hurt, and she will fight right it's her destiny' Kira said to me,

'I can't-' I was saying but Emily cut me off,
'I will do it!' She said,

I stared at Emily, in disbelief, What??
'What are you saying?!?' I asked still shocked, that she wants to fight a vampire,

Emily looked at me then at her mom,
'Mom can you give us a second?' She asked her,
Kira nodded and went inside the hpouse shutting the door behind her.

I looked at Emily,
'I won't fight you, I can't it's dangerous, what if you get hurt?, What if you started bleeding and I lost control?', What if I break your bones by accident?-' I was saying but Emily cut me off, by, pressing her soft, tender, plump lips against mine.

I kissed her back, and held her in my arms gently, she tangled her fingers in my hair,
After a moment our lips parted, and we joined our foreheads,

'You won't hurt me, I believe in you' she said to me,  love and trust radiating from her eyes,
I stayed silent and thought about it, looking in her deep brown eyes,

A tear rolled down her eye,
'Jake, I also don't want to fight with you, but it is my destiny, I have to save Auradon, I have to fight the evil, I have to.....die' she completed her sentence with a heavy heart, as more tears rolled down her eyes,

I hugged her, and she cried it all out on my shoulder,
I still wasn't able to accept the the last word of her sentence, I pulled back, when she stopped crying and kissed her forehead,

'I will fight you everything is going to be fine, please don't cry Angel, it's killing me' I said to her, and she hugged me again,

'Sorry' she mumbled, and I hummed in response.
