Now let's begin
It was late night, Naira was completing some of her office work, that is when she heard some footsteps, she thought that Kartik's grandma might be there for something. But when she noticed the time, it was past midnight, she gets a little worried and decides to check it out.
She goes to the hall and suddenly she hears a sound of smashing of something. She gets a little scared.
" Is anyone here?" She shouts and then mentally curses herself, like why the hell is she doing that.
Tina hears some footsteps behind. She turns and finds 2 strangers standing with weapons in their hands. And the next second there was a THUD!. Tina falls half unconscious on the floor. After a min or two she hears a shrieking sound from the first floor. She gets up with difficulty and calls the police and then picks up a thick iron rod and goes to grandma's room. She attacks the goons from behind and hits their head hardly to make the unconscious and ties them with difficulty and then notices that grandma was lying unconscious and blood was oozing out from her forehead. She calls the doctor immediately. After sometime the Doctor arrives and immediately treats the grandma.
Tina gets very angry that how did they hurt an aged woman and starts beating them again with the rod
In the meantime the police and the goenka's arrive. They notice the police car outside
" What's going on?" Kartik's dad inquires
Kartik notices that Tina was beating two people mercilessly. He goes and holds her from her waist and tries to pull her away. Tina gasps when she feels his hands on her waist
" Leave them Tina, they don't deserve it, let the cops deal with them" Kartik tries to calm her.
" Leave me, I'm gonna kick their ass" she protests
" You already have" Kartik says and takes her away from them
He takes the iron rod from her hand.
The police comes and asks for Tina.
Tina then narrates the whole incident.
Everyone gets worried for grandma, but doctor comes and assures them that she is fit and fine.
Next Morning
Everyone was busy with their morning routines that is when grandma comes downstairs and looks here and there.
" Where is Tina?" She asks
" Umm...why?" Kartik asks
" Call her, I want to thank her" she says and then goes to sit on the couch
Tina comes in the hall, and notices that everyone was looking at her, she feels awkward.
" You called me?" she asks looking at grandma
" Yes I did, I want to thank you for what you did last night, come have breakfast" Kartik's grandma says and then leads Tina to the table
" It's fine, I'll eat in the office" Tina tries to escape the offer, as she's just a tenant
" No, you will eat with us, you're like a family to me now" she says adamantly and then the whole family proceeds to have breakfast
" You won my grandma's heart in a day, it's not easy, what are your intentions?" Kartik says with a mischievous tone
" I don't know, you tell me" Tina replies with the same mischievous tone
As everyone was busy with breakfast, so nobody noticed them. Kartik takes the opportunity and leans closer towards Tina
" I think you're trying to make me fall for you" Kartik whispers in her ear
Tina pushes Kartik back immediately,
" keep dreaming" she says with sass and leaves him in his thoughts
