Chapter 40: Scheme within a scheme

Two days passed, the entire Capital was now in chaos. Bigger than the disaster happen when the Epidemic Event happen.

It can be said that it was the climax of this event but the group of Zexel did not even panic and now they are just having their Tea Time.

"The Chaos was much bigger than I expected. Good job sis," Zexel smirk as Fan Yaoli smirk.

They will do the fourth phase of the plan and that will fall to Feng Ming Li.

The first phase was to cure the normal people. Second phase was to Build the Herbal Medicine Shop and the Third Phase was to close it which is already done by Fan Yaoli and Zexel.

The fourth Phase is within the Palace. And Feng Ming Li was the best candidate because Feng Zhengying is only an adopted son.

It was to manage the Chaos and ask for the Emperor's decree.

"Feng Ming Li, after another 3 days, go to the Palace. You know what to do," Feng Ming Li just nodded and the meeting was now dismiss.

Meanwhile, the Emperor is now frustrated because of the Chaos. He knows that the whole Pingjing Country is too Vulnerable to any external attack. He was too afraid that war will begin because of this event.

He know learn that any small complain from ordinary people is important as the complain of Noble people. Because he neglected those complain, it become too big that even he, can't control it.

His scheme towards the Herbal Medicine Shop did not even work. And the little hopes of what they give is nowhere to be found.

He order his men to look for the lady who own the shop but it was as if she is a ghost and no one in the Capital knows even her name. They just know that the lady was the reason why they had hope.

The antidote was way too effective to the buyer. Her word spread like a wild fire after they know that only the first person who swallow the pill will exclusively can use the whole effectiveness of the Antidote.

They are all too greedy and did not even wait for there turn to have the antidote. Their only hope is nowhere to be found after their schemes.

If they did not complain nor buy the pills to other, this will not happen to the own it was right now.

The people who complain to the Herbal Medicine started to be the center of the blame. They are now like a prisoner because they can't even walk out of their houses.

The Empress and the Emperor separately do investigation to the owner of the Herbal Medicine Shop but after another 3 days, nothing had been found.

"Your Majesty, Ninth Prince, Gui Wangye and Ming Wangye, seek for audience," the butler said. The Emperor knitted his eye brow as he don't know why his good for nothing son and his unwanted adoptive son will seek an audience to this crucial point.

The Emperor gesture them to let the two enter. As usual, Feng Zhengying is sitting to his wheelchair pretending to be cripple and Feng Ming Li was the one who pushes the wheelchair.

"Greetings Imperial Father may you live a thousand year," Feng Zhengying and Feng Ming Li.

"Why are you both here?" The Emperor was too suspicious to the both of them but the two only shrugged it off.

Feng Ming Li fakely smile to his Father and mentally curse him for being an idiot and stupid.

"The Lady owner of the Herbal Medicine seek for you, Imperial Father. She told me that now that her Shop is close, she will let you take over the Antidote in exchange of 1/2 of the profit. They will also be the provider of the ingredients but she ask for you to sell the Antidote 1000 Gold Coin per bottle or higher because it include a lot of precious herbs," Feng Ming Li smiled as if his word was just nothing.

"You can also take the credits and she now already done for dealing people who loves to scheme," Feng Ming Li said.

The Emperor delighted because of that. It was actually a great deal and had more favour to him. But the Emperor look suspicious to the two again.

"What do you want in exchange? If that Lady wants the 1/2 of the Profit. How about the two of you?" the Emperor ask calmly.

Feng Zhengying smirk secretly because it was all within their Plan. Zexel was quite scary for deducting the most possible outcome.

"Your son don't have any request but my brother, Ming Wangye had," Feng Ming Li said. The Emperor look to Feng Zhengying after what his good for nothing son said.

"I wish to marry a common girl named Fan Lihua," Feng Zhengying said.

The Emperor didn't see that coming. He knows who is Fan Lihua is. She was one of the banished daughter of his Prime Minister, Feng Xuan Yan.

She was now a common girl after she force herself to be disowned by his father because of her power. Although, she is second genius to her sister, Fan Qingyou, she did not have an actual power within the Palace.

It was too good to be true for the Emperor. Not only he can have a large money towards the Antidote without even spending anything to his money, he can also control the power of his unwanted adoptive son by letting him have a common girl as his main wife. It wad like hitting two birds with one stone.

But this was only on the mind of the Emperor. Although, Zexel's group will lose 1/2 of thr Profit, it can't erase the fact that she can have enough power to manipulate things in dark if she marry Feng Zhengying.

She will have a direct access to the Imperial Palace which is one of her goal to proceed much further. It was like retreating one step to make a shocking three advance step.
