Chapter Three - Emotions
_______________________________________

(Y/N)'s POV

(Y/N): This is awkward.

I mean, she was going to fall over so- there's nothing wrong with this right?

I then spoke with reason.

(Y/N): You wouldn't want that to worsen.... for you to swing like that.

Steam came out of the crack of her mask and her breathing became heavy.

Fever?

(Y/N): You okay?

She shook her head and the steam stopped.

She begins to grunt and resist my grip.

I kept my grip onto her and try to sit her down and somehow calm her.

(Y/N): Shhhhhhhh.

I then begin to use my 'calm down' technique on her back (don't ask how)

...

She stops grunting and slowly kneeled down including the DIY weapon as well.

She was suddenly relaxed.

(Y/N): Works every time.

I slowly remove my hands off her, I remove my backpack slowly, wouldn't want to make any sudden movements again.

She noticed and tried to put her hand on me.

I grabbed her hand.

(Y/N): Shhhhhh, I'm not going to hurt you. I wanna help.

I went inside the bag to find the first aid kit and as soon I pulled it out, she was on a defensive pose.

Cute.

I look close up to the glass shard and begin analyzing.

Step 1: Cut the sleeve so it's easier to work with.
Step 2: Insert Morphine.
Step 3: Carefully remove the shard.
Step 4: Add medicine.
Step 5: Stitch up the opening.
Step 6: Wrap it up with a strip of bandage.
Step 7: Make it better by kissing it-

Just kidding.

I look up to her.

(Y/N): Do you mind me cutting the sleeve off? It'll be easier for me to work with.

She paused for a moment and gave a hesitant nod.

I grab the medical scissors in the kit and begin cutting her long sleeve above the wound.

She was stiff.

Once it was cut, I put the cut-off sleeve folded next to her. She looked at it and was concerned.

I noticed.

(Y/N): Don't worry, I have one like yours in the bag. I'll lend you it.

I reach for the bag and pull out a black oversized sweater.

She gasp and rapidly nods.

Not gonna lie, she's adorable.

But I haven't seen her face yet.

I put the sweater beside me and then I pull out a needle of morphine.

She became stiff like a statue when she looked at it.

(Y/N): It'll be quick, if I don't insert this... you'll be in a lot of pain.

A sweatdrop appeared on her chin.

She gave it some thought and look down nodding.

(Y/N): Let the operation begin.

Timeskip

(Y/N): Phew...

I wipe my forehead.

(Y/N): Operation successful.

She looks at her arm and touches it.

*grunt*

(Y/N): Yeah, the morphine wore off after I finished adding the bandage.

She was impressed, I could tell through her mask.

I turn to grab something in the bag and pull 3 lollipops.

(Y/N): Here, you did a good job.

She looks me and the lollipops and back at me. She then slowly went for the pops and quickly snatches it.

She unwraps one of them and lifts her mask only to see her mouth.

Braces I see.

She begins eating the lollipop and smiles while eating it.

I then petted her on the head unconsciously.

We both paused for a moment.

(Y/N): Sorry, you're just too cute.

I slipped out.

She drops her lollipop.

Her face turns bright red and puts her hands on her cheeks.

I had to change the topic somehow.

(Y/N): Here, change to this.

I lend her the black oversized sweater.

She removed her hands from her face but was still blushing.

She grabs the sweater and inspects it.

She made a heartwarming smile.

I had this weird feeling in my chest and my face somehow turns a bit red.

I tilt my head to the side with my hand on my mouth.

She looks at me and tilts her head in confusion.

(Y/N): It's nothing.

And apparently, I had a small smile on my face.

My emotions are coming back to me.
