Chapter Seventeen

Andrea's POV.

Finally we received great news. Finally have a heart donor and Erica could ready to transplant her heart. We were having breakfast in my studio and I could see the excitement of Erica's face. She was grinning since she received the news an hour ago and she looks fucking cute. I grinned like an idiot too because her grin was contagious.

"Come on, we have to hurry and be ready to hospital later." I chuckled and she still remain the same face "Yea, I can't wait to have bungee jump with you. This is the first thing I want to do with you after my heart is stable." i smiled "And I can fuck you harder too." she snorted "Idiot." I laughed.

*Bzzzzz Bzzzzzz* Erica's phone was ringing she looked at the screen showed hospital caller ID. She frowned and pick up "Hello" her eyebrows knitted deeper "Oh, okay" then she used one of her hand covered her mouth "Sure, thank you. Goodbye." she said in croaky voice and ended the call I quickly reached her and embraced her. She sobbed "Why? Why everything could just upside down on sudden?" I caressed her back "Don't give up baby, we still have hope."

"How many hopes we still have?" she sniffed "We still have plenty of hope baby as long as you are still alive." I tightened my hug on her and said softly "Don't give my baby, you need to keep your faith on it." I pulled away and planted a kiss to her lips and she returned it and continue cried "I'll try being strong babe. I just." she sobbed again "They shouldn't give me the good news at the beginning then after awhile told me that this news is not going to happen." she tried to steady her breath the continue "I felt like they were fooling my happiness." she scoffed and I shushed her "Shhh Don't be disappointed baby, everything will be fine." she weakly nodded her head.

Erica had been cried for a few hours and she passed out. Right now she laid on top of me in her deep sleep. I was heart broken to see her like that. I caressed her back and lightly patted it. I could see she smiled perhaps she was listening my heartbeat again. I chuckled of how cute she was. She always said she happy when she heard my heartbeat, she felt safe and felt like a home to her.

We were watching Netflix after she woke up. My back laid against headboard of bed while she leaned her back against my front and wedged in between my legs. I wrapped my arms around her shoulder and place my chin on the top of her head. We just relax and watch our favorite series together.

"Babe, I will go out get our dinner. You could have a nap. I'll wake you up when I back." I smiled and she pouted her lips "Can we just called for delivery?" I chuckled and shook my head "Nope" she groaned "Fine, but don't take so long. I will miss your cuddled." she pouted her lips again then I pecked her lips and smiled at her "I'll be back shortly" she smiled "Be safe babe." she pulled me and plant her kiss to my lips a little longer then pulled away "I'll baby." I winked and left my studio.

"Do you know the size of her finger?" I looked at the ring and smiled flashback last time I given her promised ring and she slightly upset that I didn't propose to her. I informed the person the size of Erica finger then bought the ring. I felt a little nervous to propose to her later. I had been plan for this since the day she decided come back to me. I believed that she would stay alive and happily with me after. I always put the faith on us that we could make it and all we have to be patience. I knew waiting news day by day was torturing Erica I felt helpless I couldn't do anything to make her feel better. I only could be her companion and encourage her.

I did script my speech and played some of the song ready to propose to her. I smiled and I was picturing how would be her expression when I did this to her. Now, I already at the florist shop and I'm looking a bouquet of flower. If proposed I think roses would be the best. So, I decided bought a bouquet of Red rose to her and arranged delivered to the restaurant I have reserved. So, about go out buy our dinner was a lie (I'm great in surprise and I know it.)

Now It is time to meet my precious Erica. Today the traffic seems not so hectic, that was great. I hummed the song which I was ready to sing to Erica later and I grinned like an idiot now. Thankfully have helmet cover my face. When the traffic light turns red I quickly stopped.

I smiled and flashback Erica always nagging me whenever the traffic light from yellow turn to red, I would speed up my motorcycle. This had happened countless time. After a moment I didn't do it anymore because I don't want Erica pissed off.

I heard a loud screeched from behind and in a second I felt my body flew up uncontrollably and I felt my head hit something hard and my neck get craned forcefully. Then I could feel my body flipped a few round and finally my back lay on the ground. I felt the warm metallic taste throw out from my mouth and I coughed out.

I merely could move my body right now. I helplessly stared on the sky and right now is sunset. Oh fuck Erica sure wait for me in worry sick I have spent an hour to get the ring and flower. I struggled to turn up my head and I could see my monster totally ruined. I rested my head on ground. My vision I could see Erica's face with her stunning smile and waiting for me to go home.

"Erica" Isaid weakly and I smiled "I'm coming home. Don't kick my ass if I late tohome." I chuckled weakly "I love you Erica.... wait for me..."then everything turn in black.
