REBECCA'S POV

I groan as the sound from the alarm clock took over the whole room, ''oh shut up, I said as I rolled to the nightstand to shut the alarm, finally morning, oh God, I groan, another day of emptiness.
I sighed as I lay down on my bed looking around my room, feeling tired and lazy,
I wished I could stay in bed all day, but I have to go to work, don't want what happened yesterday to repeat itself,
I have to get to work by 7am and now it's 5:30 am, forcing myself up from the bed, I went to the bathroom to get my stuff done, I placed my uniform in my bag and wore a plain red T-shirt with black leggings and just made my hair into messy bun took a look at myself in the mirror, I felt satisfied.

The weather was a bit chilly today so I picked up a jacket. ...
Time to go, I'm walking down to the restaurant so I had to leave on time,

I picked up my bag went down took an apple and off I went.

The weather was cool like I said earlier, the road was kinda empty except for a few people walking like me,
it was still early, and not many people were out by this time,

I felt refreshed as I walked down with the cool air engulfing my whole body,

I was surprisedly feeling good. Undermining the fact that I woke up in a shitty mode.

I got to the restaurant with about fifteen minutes to spare,
I went straight to the changing room got on my uniform for the day's work.

Walking out I got engulfed and quashed in a hug so tight I could barely breathe, knowing who the culprit is a smile formed on my lips
''can't breathe, need space" I said as I tried to pull away from her tight embrace
''Becca baby, how are you doing,?
Jul all but shouted at me, I cringed at the sound of her loud voice. ''I'm okay Jul bug, how are you doing? I asked her,
''I'm fine as you can see''
''Yeah I can see, did you want to kill me with your hug, I asked her rolling my eyes at her, she ignored me as usual and pulled me towards the counter saying something about getting her titties done, she is one weird girl, but yeah I love her
''Today you are going to meet your Prince Charming, I know it" she looked at me and smirked, I rolled my eyes at her
" Yeah I know you always say that so it's kind of old now, don't you think so,"
"Don't be a joy killer, I can feel, he is coming today'', she chirped happily.

We were so different, she was outspoken and jovail and I was the opposite laid back and sometimes awkward.
' I have told you I don't need a man, I'm fine you of all people should know that I said to her turning all serious, I'm a virgin and it's not that I don't have the opportunity but I haven't found the right person and all the guys I have dated were just for the sex and I seriously don't want that, I don't want any more heartbreak and headache, so it's better I stay single for my peace of mind, so guys, for now, is a no, no and I have always told Jul, but the little witch has a mind of her own.
She has several times tried to play cupid and hook me up with so guys, I'm not even going to go into the details, I had always found a way to decline, but being a stubborn woman, she never gives up.
