"H-Here you go." A seventeen-years-old beastman said shyly while holding out a clay bowl of sliced fruits. The teen has shoulder-length soft dark green hair with a few red strands in it and pure white skin with no muscles. "I personally cut this up myself and peel the skin off. I hope you like it."

Victoria stopped reading her novel and look up at the beastman. The teen nearly blushed when her peach eyes focus on him. "Can I-"

"Not interested in men who looks like they just getting out of their cub phase, please take your leave over to the left," Victoria cut him off, not even trying his offering. She went back reading her book.

"What?" The teen chokes up at the cold rejection, tears began to well up in his eyes threatening to escape. He soon turns bright red in anger and was about the shout when a large hand clasp on to his shoulder.

"She said she was not interested," Carson said looking down at the quivering teen. "Do you have a problem with that?"

"No!" The teen squeal out, stumble away from the man and ran off, the other enchanted beastmen part to give him room before grouping up again. All of them eager to gain Victoria's attention, Carson eyed the lovestruck men with caution and took a step back to his station to Victoria's right.

'I am grateful that my friends' mates are willing allow them to help keep the crowd under control.' Carson thought, looking at his friends barking at some of them rowdier beastmen to stay back and wait their turn to talk with his mate. One of them had forcefully dragging away two eighteen-years-olds when Victoria made her announcement. Carson felt someone staring at him, so he turned his head to see Victoria looking at him.

"You look so sexy when you strike fear in others," Victoria told the man with a sly smile. "I am a very lucky woman to have you accept me."

"There is no need to say such things," Carson informed her, attempting to ignore the blush he gained after her compliment. "My duties are to ensure no harm come to you in any shape or form."

Victoria grabs his arm and pull him lightly; Carson leads closer to her height. His eyes widen as he stiffens up in shock when she kisses him on the cheek. "My hero."

"Victoria! What the hell is all this!?"

Victoria looks in front of her to see Jade and a woman pushing through the crowd. The pissed-off look the African American woman give her brought a bright smile. "Hello, Jade. I see that you manage to make a new friend while we were gone. Congrats."

"Cut the crap," Jade said flatly, crossing her arms. "What are you doing? I thought you wanted to head out to go look for the guard."

"I did. Meet my first husband Carson." Victoria answered cheerfully, Carson gives a small awkward wave when Jade look over at him briefly. Victoria's attention was diverted by the small movement from the light brown wolf she was currently sitting on. For a split second her face turned blank before it went back to normal. "This is Aiden, my trial lover. I am currently going through a progress of finding suitable 'lovers' to go home with. In which I will decide who pass to become my husbands."
