Unexpected bites

I have seen a lot of movies about past lives and reincarnations , but I never ever expected to be the one to experience this.
If you ever get the chance to go back in the past would you make the same mistakes to end up with your love or would fix the mistakes and be at risk of losing that love ?
my life changed a year ago, when I discovered that some mistakes are meant to happen.
Well atleast that's how ended up in that tree hole.

One year ago:

As I was walking in the woods, each footstep broke at least one twig. It was like walking on autumn leaves but much harder now. Wind was whistling through my ears. The sky was dark, the moon was the only source of light. Well , if Steven would have been here , he would say
"Moon is the only source of shadow" and something like that. But that douchebag decided to stay at home and watch some TV shows. Who knows what he is watching, crying breakfast friends?

He is there enjoying the night and I am here lost in the forest where I came to hike. I had the hunch that it was a bad idea to come hiking alone, but didn't expect to literally be lost.

I was getting nervous,my heart was racing fast ,I had never been lost and didn't know how to handle the situation. I walked around in a straight path, but then ended up realising I have seen that same scary tree thrice.

I was running circles, I was not sure how am I going to get out of this, I looked through my bag for anything useful, but nothing.

'Why did I bring a charger on a trip?'
I wondered.

I sat on a rock and waited for someone although I knew no one else would be this mad to hike this late. I smacked my forehead in anger and stayed like that for a while.

Until the mosquitoes started to do their thing.
I got up and decided to run and go wherever it takes me , and just like that i fell,

"Ouch,....ow, ah, fucking son of a bitch rock" i screamed the F word loud enough to wake Steven's cute grandma

"Who was that?!" A female voice

"Huh?, can you hear me?" I asked as if we know each other

"Yeah I can hear you , where are you?" She asked in response

I found her , thanks the stars I found someone,

Her voice sounded like a pretty girl, she had a type of voice a girl would have , the type that just sounds sweet to your ear.
She wore a jean jacket, and a bandanna on her neck, atleast that's what I thought she was wearing

"Hey , are you okay?" I asked being the man

"Yeah, I got separated from my group"

"Your group?"

"Yeah the four of us came in this jungle, I came with my college friends"

"Oh, that's unfortunate but do you have any clue where they might be?" I asked but deep inside i was just glad I found a human being

"Yeah, I lost them at a scary looking tree, in the eve" she had a pretty accent,

"Scary tree? Wait, I have stumbled upon it a few times before, let's go there. " I said being impatient
After a while I offered her my hand.

The woods were dark , she didn't have any option, she had to hold my hand to be together and that's the first time I touched her.

Her hands were soft, she had small hands.
Her nails were not that feminine, they were normal ones, the ones you have never put nail paints on, the ones you just don't have any time to pay attention to and sometimes bite them just like that.

Now the twigs were breaking even more, as I was remembering from where I started to run, I could realise that she was also scared.

"By the way, I am Zach"

"I am...Luna"
