"Wow, i didn't realise you were a ditcher" she said making a joke

"Well, i didn't ditch you practically you ditched me with that guy"

"Hey I just went for a dance okay? How's that ditching"

"Listen lady, I am a guy, if another guy takes the women I am talking to, it automatically becomes a signal for me to stop trying"

"Well if you are a guy , you should have tried harder than him? Wait, were you trying on me?"

"oh leave it, let's find out way out"

"Yeah sure"

We somehow we became more frank to each other. I don't know what that guy did but Luna was different now.

And finally we were on top of a hill from where we could see the whole damn city.

"Beautiful! It's our city" she was admiring the view

"It really is beautiful"

"How do you plan to go down Mr.climber?"

"Haha, just you see moongirl I'll get you down"

"Is that a sexual joke?"

"Do you like it to be?"

"Maybe?"

"I'll take maybe for now"

We both were laughing, and were talking freely now, despite her lying to me about her name and I leaving her in the lounge, we were still good to go.

"So Mr.climber what are you outside this mountain?"

"Are you asking about my job?"

"No, dumb I am asking about you, who are you exactly"

"Well I can say i am more of a spectator"

"Spectator?"

"Yeah, somehow I don't see myself living the daily life I see it more of like I am observing shit happening to me and i am just helpless about it"

"And vulnerable right?Like you could feel it happening to you but you just keep saying to yourself that you are overreacting or playing the victim card,"

She said

"Yeah, Like i cannot even feel sorry for myself, if i do I think how pathetic I am for crying and not doing anything about it" I said completing

"I feel like we have somethings in common"

"I suppose this is how everyone feels"

"You think so?" She asked as if it's hard to believe

She fixed her hair, as we were getting out of jungle we could here the crickets and random owl chirps

"How was your childhood like?" She asked

"Well all of my childhood I never was really the popular guy or something, I mean I was a rebel, most of my classmates hated me,"

"For?"

"Throwing a chair at a kid, on the first day" I said

" you too?" She said giggling

And I got angry for a moment, look I have this thing, if I tell someone what has happened to me or what problem I had ,
I expect them to listen to it or be quiet about it , or do both, but if they laugh about it or tell me they have the same thing it doesn't really help neither it makes me feel better. But i continued to listen to her.

"Yeah, you had the same thing?"

"No not me , i once had a classmate who was like this only"

"I see, how was that person?"

"to be honest I don't know, I never tried to talk to her, I was just spectating like you"

"Oh"

Suddenly the atmosphere became quite and awkward.

And we finally saw a billboard saying highway at left.

We were relieved this time I did not feel any disappointment like last time.

"Let's go" I said pointing it to her

"Yeah," weirdly enough she was not as happy like before

After a while of waiting the first bus came at 6:00 Am

We both were tired, we did not sleep whole night moreover we were hungry too

As we got into bus, only two seats were empty and they were adjacent.

We both sat together her facing the window.

"It was nice meeting you Zach"

"It was good to meet you too Luna"

"You know right Luna is not my real name?"

"Well if you told me to guess your name ,the first time we met , i would have guessed Luna only"

"Why?"

"I can only relate you to the moon"
I don't know why but I was suddenly so poetic, maybe it was the effect of spending time with her

"Why is that Zach,?" Our eyes were locked
She was directly looking into my soul,

"Luna, just like the moon, you are hard to understand"

"Why is the moon hard to understand?" she was more interested about why the moon is hard to understand rather than me saying she was hard to understand

It was like she was trying accept that nobody could get her.

"Well, it shows me it's full beauty one day and another it hides, another it's half and another it's red, it has so many variants yet each of them just leaves me craving for more"

"That's the best description i have ever heard about the moon"

"Thankyou, Luna"

"Tickets?" the bus driver asked in an uplifting voice breaking our conversation

"Oh , downtown, Toronto"

She said

"You?" He asked me somewhat irritated

"Beach City, near the A4 donut shop"

"Wow we live pretty close" she said

"Not that close, it's still a 2 km drive"
The conductor said and went to the back of the bus

"So what were you saying?" I asked

"I don't remember" she said smiling

"Zach, if you ever come to downtown give me a call she said handing me a slip,"

"Oh I will,"
I said with a smile too

We both were smiling, she was shy

"Downtown?!" The conductor yelled from behind

Three to four passengers including Luna got off

"Hey Luna!" I said poping my head out the window

"Yeah ?"

"What's your real name?!"
I asked

"Meet me! And I'll tell you!"

"Seriously?"

"Bye, Mr.stargazer"
