I ran up the field quietly. I hadn't seen the red-haired girl's face, but it seemed like she was delighted to talk to him, while En was in his emotionless state.
"Mari, I don't have interest on any of your friends. What's with your sudden change of topic?" He changed his facial expression.
So, that girl's name is Mari?
"Great then! Be mine!" She started to cling onto his arm, but luckily, he dodged. En looked uncomfortable. Then, he shook his head.
The girl named Mari pouted unpleasingly, "Many years ago, you promised that you would marry me!"
Are they childhood friends?
"I didn't say 'marry', but I would always 'protect' you. Why are you like this now? I have no interest in marrying. Just because I am a prince, it doesn't mean that I would be a very 'gentleman' person."
Mari rolled her eyes. "Whatever, I just love you, that's all."
That's all? That is all?! This girl? AND LOVE?! THAT IS ALL? YOU JUST CONFESSED YOUR LOVE AND ALL YOU SAY IS THAT IS ALL?!..Geez..
"Well, I don't feel the same way. Plus, romancing is not my forte. I might die this week, in place of Lilly."
Umm, I cancelled the sacrifice.
"How dare she! She left you to die! She should have never picked you! A selfish girl!"
That was the 'old' Lilly Fiske. Have you even ever talked to me before? At all?! This girl is just the worst. How could En like her in the first place?!
I decided to sneak my way around to 'not' get caught. Suddenly, I made a loud noise. Ugh! It's shell! I just broke it!
"What is that?! Is someone eavesdropping us?"
AHH!! SHTUPPID WIWY!!! (STUPID LILLY!!!) We gotta run! But I didn't, instead, I couldn't see.

Ghlia? What's happening??
I heard a chirp, but that's all I heard. No wind, no talking, but just a chirp. Ghlia, are you here?
I heard her say 'Sje'. I smiled in an imaginary way. So what happened Ghlia? Ghlia chirped utter nonsense that I did not understand.
I'm sorry, I don't understand you, Ghlia. She chirped a sad sound. I knew that she was sad. Sorry Ghlia.
"Hsjaqm." She told me in Phoenix Gibberish. I continued smiling in an imaginary way.
Suddenly, I woke up. Everything was back to normal. I was still in the grass field. But, as I sat up and looked around, I found En beside me.
"En?!" I was surprised. What really happened here? I tried to find Ghlia but she was nowhere to be found...Not even on my head!
"Oh! Lilly! What are you doing here?! I saw you sleeping uncomfortably on behind the log as Marisa was leaving." He said, crossing his arms and wrinkling his nose.
I could tell that he was worried, "I don't know." I looked at myself to see myself in a different dress and a different hairstyle. My hair was braided down to a regular three strand braid, with a navy blue ribbon tied down to hold my braids together.
Then, I saw my dress. It was...a peasant dress?! If I were to describe this dress in more detail than it would have been a dull, dark blue, knee-lengthed dress. It was simple, yet comfortable. Still, it looked like rags.
My shoes were wrapped around my foot and it looked like it was made of leather. That looks uncomfortable. And, truthfully, it kind of is.
"Lilly, you are wearing peasant clothes! What happened?" He asked, confused. I shook my head. "I don't know."
"So, who was that girl? Was her name Mari..sa?" The words slipped off my tongue like it was nothing! I gasped at covered my mouth as I apologized.
En just flinched. But, as soon as he flinched , he covered it with a smile. "Uuhhh, En, I saw that flinch you know.."
He sighed.
What's with him? He seemed different...Of course he was different! He looks different! Duh!
He looked at me. "What?" He asked.
That was what I was supposed to say. He was the one staring at me... "Can you answer my question?"
"..."
"Sorry."
"No, it's fine...I was just wondering what happened to you..We were discussing about you. So, about Marisa. She is acting awkward lately, just around every boy... except me. She like- loves me... We are childhood friends and she knew me ever since I was a youngster- A baby, preferably."
"Marisa? What was she like?"
"She was a patience, brave, independent, and formal girl. Mari had no interest in romance and definitely not arrogant. Now, she's just been weird lately. It's making me uncomfortable, I feel like she was hiding her feelings for a long time before being forced into marrying someone. And, she, of course might have feelings for me so she forced me to be with her to get out of troublesome men. Although, it seems like she wants me to be with her forever anyway."
"That was long. Well, ok. I don't know what to do either..this is different than expected. What a story. Well, umm, sorry, I have no advice, but I want to tell you why I disappeared. By the way, I wasn't using these clothes." I pointed at my clothes.
He nodded, "Go on."
"The thing is, I went to the underworld. I tried to visit Februus, the God of Purification in the underworld to understand that we were trying not to kill anybody, because I don't want you and me to be killed."
He nodded again. And, I continued, "So, after several attempts, we succeeded, and he signed a contract he created to not sacrifice us, yet receive a punishment."
En then let out his thoughts after listening to this.
