Ch 3: The news

Elle POV

I'm trying to sleep, it's already 10pm,i have exams tomorrow. Not long after I heard a sound of crying, I was sure my mother was crying. I also got out of bed and walked out. I knocked on the door of my mother's room. I wish her well, I was scared to face my mother when she wasn't in a good mood, last time I faced her who wasn't in a good mood, she almost shot our maid. I don't know why she has a gun, she said it's just for protection

"entra!" she said, and took a few steps inside the room, she looked so miserable, her eyes open bloodshot, red and puffy, i hate seeing her like this, again last time i saw her like this, she was drunk. "Mama? Are you okay? What happened?" i asked her 3 questions in line

 "Yea mia cara, mama's okay, it's just some problem, u know mama right? It's okay mia bella, i'm fine, you just go to sleep, you have school tomorrow" she said

It didn't convince me to knock it out, i know my mom's hurting right now, and she needs me

"No mama, ur not okay! u know u can tell me, i would understood, i can hel-" i was cut, "NO!! U DON'T UNDERSTAND AND U CAN'T, UR JUST 13TH YEARS OLD GIRL, U DON'T KNOW!! NOW GET OUT AND GO TO SLEEP, NOW!!" she shouted at me, i felt tears running down my cheeks. 

I ran away back to my room and closed the door softly. I snuggles to my bunch of pillows and snuggles my self in my soft and warm blanket, i stared to my ceiling, as the tiredness consumed me, i felt my eyes heavy, and my bedroom door was open and closed, i won't see who was coming, i just want to keep my eyes closed, i'm so tired.

Prolly it was my mama, "Mi dispiace, figlia mia, mama just can't face the truth that mama have to lose him, you'll know soon mia cara, soon-"

and by that, i was drowned into my sleep, and her voices is fading away.

The next morning, i woke up just as usually i would woke up everyday, i walk to my bathroom, and took a quick shower. When i finished my shower, i walked to my closet and get dressed. After that i took my school bag, put on my shoes, and ran downstairs. 

I rushed to the kitchen and ate something that my maid has made for me. Pancakes with berries and honey is the best, yeah i ate healthy food only.

After i finished, i went to my mom's car, and found her getting ready with a staircase. I entered the car, as my mom also hop in on my left. "Mom, where are you going again?" i asked, "Italy baby, Italy" she said 

"Again? Mom can't you brought me there also? I'm never been in Italy before" i said, "Mia cara, u were born there baby, so you have been there before" she said "yeah, of course" i put a lil sarcasm there, but she seems didn't care.

"Mama, what did u said to me last night? That you have lose him, and soon i'll knew something? What's that about" i asked, she just stared on the road, as she tried to look away, "You'll know soon mia cara, soon" she said.

I arrived at school, and say goodbye to my mom. I walked to my locker, and i was greeted by one and only squad. "Hi Elle! How ya doin?" Maggie said playfully, "what do you think i was doing? huh" i said back playfully, 

"ur collecting ur book" Brianna said, "why did u do that?" Maggie asked stupidly, "because i will study with my books? ur getting weird i swear" i said, "i know right, but we all did babe!" Livi said, "Ur more weird then i guess"i said,

 They all chuckled knowing i was serious and stressed out because the exams. Of course this is our last year of midschool. We left as the bell's rang. Let the school begin.

2 day later,

Vincenzo POV

Today is my dad's funeral, everyone's here, including my on and off rival and alliance 'The Romano's' I was now standing besides my mom and my girlfriend Natalie. 

I saw Luca Romano looking at me and then Natie, i could felt his gazed locked with her, but i'm trying so bad to ignored this, i don't want to caused a scene, and i had big reputation here as the New Don's.

After the funeral, i saw Luca's walking towards us, he looked at me and then Natie's again. "Hello Mrs.Ferrari, nice to meet u, I'm Luca Romano, i'm a mafia don's too just like your son's here, actually we're bestfriend" he said also winking at Natie, bestfriend my ass..

"Oh hello, nice to meet you too Mr.Romano" she said, "Luca mrs.Ferrari, just call me Luca" He said, "So goodluck on your new duty Mr.Ferrari don" he said, i just gave him a lil smile, "and who's this beautiful lady besides you?" he asked

"She's my girlfriend, and she's mine Romano! You know not to mess with me" I said, "Oh Vinny, don't be so rude, hey.. hi, i'm Natalie, just call me Natie, Ur handsome man too" she said, i could see she's winking. They were.

"Okay, so we better get going, see u later Romano" i said. I glared at him. 

3 Days Later

"Hello! What? What do you meant? No, it's impossible, ...., mhhm, ....., AND THE FACT IS NO, QUIT IT!" sHIT, they found her, they found my fuckin' sister. Mom! I need to tell her, "MAMA!! MADRE! MAMA!" I shouted repeatedly, "YES MIO FIGLIO, WHAT?" she looked pissed, she crossed her arms too

"They found you, and her" i said as she turned pale. "What? no!" she said, "Mom, i think it's the best right now if you go with her, move to another country, move away" i said, "where? how? If they know me, then if i take her with me and move away with her, she could be traced, idk what to do?" she asked

"I have a plan, mama, we will bought her an apartement in London, it's a great place there, she could also have a great education then, just moved her there, i know people that could take care of her, you don't have to be worried they were trusted, everything would be under control, and you're going to told her that you should stay in Italy due to bussiness problem, and contract, she would understand it, would her?" i said

"It's a great plan, i'll told her that, she would understand"she said "good now"

"Vin?" "Yea Ma?" i answered her, "i don't think Natie could be trusted, i felt weird towards her, and it's bad. I gulped, but i'll find out soon.
