Chapter 10: Lost In The Maze

"Thanks for saving me, Rescue Riders!" Elbone said to them. "Your welcome, I recommend doing something like, uh... NOT getting yourself into trouble." Dak recommended. "Alright," Elbone agreed.

Suddenly, the wind got strong and Dak fell off of Winger. "Ahhhh!" Dak yelled but Summer caught him. Kira managed to stay on Shadow's back but she, Winger, and Shadow all got separated from the group.

Shadow POV

"Ugh," I said, getting up. "What was that fall...?" Winger asked. "I have no idea, where are we?..." Kira asked. "We're at the Maze Caves..." Winger said.

"They're caves filled with mazes." Winger then said, in case we didn't know. "Yeah, we knew that, thank you, Captain Obvious," Kira said sarcastically. "How do we get out of here?" Kira asked. "That I don't know." Winger said. We looked around. I saw a burn mark. "Oh, it's still there, wow," Winger said. "What's still there?" Kira asked coming over.

"The burn mark Cutter blasted on the wall, it's still there, even after a few years!" Winger said. "How long has it been since that day?" I asked him.

"Shads, I don't even know how long it has been..." Winger replied. "We best get going then, maybe we'll soon find the exit." Kira said suddenly, startling the both of us.

"O- oh, okay!" Winger said, recovering from that moment.

While we were walking, I smiled at Winger. He smiled back and we stared into each other's eyes. "Guys!" Kira said suddenly, startling us again. "Multiple burn marks, on this wall, it looks like there was a swiftwing/relentless Razorwing fighting." Kira said. "Yup, still there, so we can know where we're at." Winger said.

"And by the way, that was me and Cutter, Kira, we were not fighting... much." Winger recalled. Kira gave a weird look when he said the last word.

This is the end of chapter 10, so in the next chapter they're still stuck but they get out.
