"You're so adorable," Xiao Qingyang exclaimed as he held onto the golden dragon, unwilling to let go. He kept rubbing his head against the dragon's belly, relishing the soft and squishy sensation.

Never had he imagined that one day he would have such close contact with a majestic dragon like Long Jingze, the Crown Prince. And now, he could even hold him tightly and enjoy this incredible happiness.

The Crown Prince Dragon initially intended to roar fiercely, hoping to intimidate this audacious person and make him back off. However, to his surprise, all that came out was a soft and almost coquettish sound. It froze him in his tracks.

Only at this moment did Long Jingze recall the events leading up to his unconscious state.

He had been in the arms of Xiao Qingyang all along, who mistook him for a wild dragon cub. In reality, he was the Crown Prince Long Jingze of the Huaxia Empire.

At twenty-six years old, Long Jingze was still relatively young considering the extended lifespan of supernaturals, which typically reached five hundred years. However, he was already an adult, and his beast form should have reflected that.

Unfortunately, not long ago, he was attacked by star pirates during an outing. Despite his guards' protection, he couldn't make it back to the Imperial Capital Star and ended up on this deserted planet. Due to his injuries, even his beast form couldn't be sustained, and he had reverted to his juvenile form for self-healing.

As the memory of the sudden ambush resurfaced, Long Jingze's eyes dimmed with profound sorrow.

His departure hadn't been made public, and only a select few knew about it. Yet, he had been subjected to a relentless onslaught by a large group of star pirates. It was highly unusual and raised countless questions.

Regarding the appearance of those star pirates, Long Jingze promised himself that once he recovered, he would thoroughly investigate. He wouldn't let anyone involved escape the consequences. However, the most pressing matter at hand was to heal his wounds as quickly as possible.

Long Jingze tried to activate his supernatural abilities to accelerate the healing process. However, a sharp pain emanating from his dantian made his heart sink. It was then that he realized his supernatural core had likely been damaged.

All supernatural abilities of supernaturals stemmed from their supernatural core. If the core sustained injuries, the healing process would prove more difficult than any other wound. In severe cases, one could lose their supernatural abilities, becoming no different from an ordinary human or beast.

If the supernatural core was injured in human form, the individual would be unable to transform into their beast form until it healed. Should the treatment fail, they would forever remain an ordinary human—a relatively fortunate outcome.

But if the supernatural core was injured in beast form, the person might never regain their human form. Over time, even their human consciousness would dissipate, leaving them as a mindless beast.

As these thoughts consumed him, Long Jingze's gaze turned increasingly dangerous. He had to find a way to return to the Imperial Capital Star as soon as possible. There, the royal family's top alchemists could mend the cracks in his supernatural core.

Though Long Jingze knew that once the supernatural core sustained cracks, repairing it fully, even with the highest-level alchemists, would be a tremendous challenge. Yet, he had no intention of giving up. However... he was now stranded on a remote planet where he couldn't harness his supernatural abilities. How could he possibly return to the Imperial Capital Star?

"It's time for your medicine, little dragon," Xiao Qingyang cheerfully reminded, holding the now calm golden dragon. He picked up a vial of healing potion and brought it near the dragon's mouth, coaxing it to drink.

Long Jingze was awakened by Xiao Qingyang's voice, suddenly realizing that he was not only stranded on a remote planet but also taken in as... a pet by a human?

He felt no worry about this human discovering his identity as the Crown Prince. After all, apart from his parents and future mate, no one knew the appearance of their royal family in their beast forms.

However, if the other party hadn't realized that he was actually the Crown Prince and perceived him as a human, he wouldn't be able to leave this remote planet on his own.

It was truly a contradictory situation.

Xiao Qingyang placed the healing potion near the golden dragon's mouth, but the dragon kept its mouth tightly shut, showing no intention of drinking it. Xiao Qingyang continued to coax, "If you drink this, your injuries will heal faster, you know."

Long Jingze disdainfully glanced at the healing potion. Just by smelling its scent, he knew it was a low-grade healing potion that would have almost no effect on his wounds. Even if his external injuries were healed, his supernatural core wouldn't recover.

Seeing that the golden dragon still showed no sign of wanting to drink it, Xiao Qingyang furrowed his brows, feeling somewhat distressed.

What should he do if his pet didn't listen and refused to take medicine?

He didn't want to resort to force, but not using force meant the pet wouldn't listen, and that truly gave him a headache.
