As Freen and Becky's relationship continued to blossom, it wasn't just their friends Yuki and Heng who were taking notice. Becky's protective older brother, Richie, had also become aware of the budding romance. Richie was a formidable presence, known for his unwavering devotion to his family, especially his little sister.

One evening, as the sun began to set, casting a warm golden hue over Gapville, Becky received a call from Richie. She answered with a smile, expecting their usual banter. "Hey, big bro! What's up?"

Richie's voice, however, carried a hint of concern. "Becky, can we talk? It's important."

Becky's heart skipped a beat. She had always been close to her brother, and his serious tone was enough to make her sit up straight. "Of course, Richie. What's on your mind?"

They decided to meet at a nearby park, a place they had often visited together in their childhood. It was a serene setting, with a small pond and a bridge that arched gracefully over it. The park held countless memories for them, but tonight, it was the backdrop for a different kind of conversation.

Richie arrived first, his tall and imposing figure cutting a distinctive silhouette against the twilight. When Becky approached, he gave her a warm hug but held her at arm's length, studying her with a searching gaze.

"Becky," he began, his voice filled with a brother's love and concern, "I've noticed that you've been spending a lot of time with Freen lately."

Becky nodded, her smile still present but tinged with a hint of trepidation. "Yes, Richie. Freen and I have been getting to know each other better, and I really like him."

Richie's brow furrowed as he continued, "Becky, you know how much you mean to me. I want what's best for you. But I need to make sure that this guy is worthy of your heart."

Becky's heart ached at the thought of her brother's protective instincts kicking in. "Richie, Freen is an incredible person. She's kind, passionate, and he cares about me. I've never felt this way about anyone before."

Richie sighed, his concern evident. "I just don't want to see you get hurt, Becky. You're my little sister, and I'll always be there to protect you."

Becky placed a hand on her brother's arm, her eyes filled with sincerity. "I know, Richie, and I appreciate that more than you'll ever know. But please, give Freen a chance. Get to know her. I believe in this relationship, and I hope you can too."

Richie's stern expression softened, and he nodded. "Alright, I'll give her a chance. But promise me, Becky, that you'll be careful and that you'll communicate with me if anything doesn't feel right."

Becky smiled, relieved that her brother was willing to open his heart to the possibility of her happiness. "I promise, Richie. Thank you for always looking out for me."

As the stars began to twinkle in the night sky, brother and sister continued their conversation, talking about love, family, and the importance of trust. Richie's concerns were born out of love, and Becky knew that she was lucky to have such a caring and protective brother in her life.

Unbeknownst to Becky, Freen was also having a conversation with Nam about her own concerns. The city of Gapville, with its myriad relationships and connections, was a witness to the complexities of love, family, and the challenges that came with navigating them. But Freen and Becky were determined to face these challenges head-on, knowing that their love was worth every hurdle that lay ahead.
