When I got the call from Angel to come get Noelle, all I could do was shake my head.

She so damn hard ears sometimes.

I roll my body off the bed and land my feet on the ground. I look behind me to see Noelle still fast asleep.

Our ride home from the club was very quiet last night, mi mad but mi nuh mad enuff fi argue wid wah drunk somody.

Once we got home, she went upstairs to change and get ready for bed. By the time I had made my up here, she was already fast asleep.

I get up and walk over to the bathroom, I need to hurry up and get dressed and head out for the day.

Mi feel like seh we still need some sorta separation, cause if we argue again today it nah nuh nice.

Once I was out of the shower, I maneuvered around the room quietly, trying not to wake her.

I hear her kiss her teeth, then I hear her feet start to move across the bedroom floor.

She walks into the bathroom, slamming the door behind her.

I couldn't help but laugh to myself, this situation has taught me how similar we both are.

I sit on the bed to put on my shoes just as she makes her way back into the bedroom.

"Thanks for coming to get me last night, yuh coulda leff mi ah road, but you didn't so thanks" her voice was monotonous.

"Anuh yuh ah mi ooman? How mi coulda leff yuh ah road ah night?" I respond to her, my eyes meeting hers.

"Well it's just that we were arguing, suh mi wouldn't be surprised if yuh neva did waan see mi"

I kiss my teeth at her in annoyance before replying.
