Both of them were childless for many years.As they were Big devotees of Bhagwan Shankar,they decided to pray for a son to the Almighty. Both of them were meditating since many years.Both were so much engrossed in their austerities that they couldn't feel about the environmental changes occuring around them. They were least affected by the heat of Sun,By the heavy showers of rain or by the coldness of Winter. Like this,they spent lot of years meditating. Spiders had started to form their webs across them, thereby making them look more filthy.However the radiance produced in their body because of their meditation was undefined.
Suddenly fog started to appear.Cold wind started to blow thereby removing the webs formed on them. And Shulpaani Nilkanth Mahadev appeared over their sitted on his Mount,Nandi Along with his beloved wife Parvati.
