12 pm

At David's dorm

"Where were you?" I took a sip from my coffee.

"Outside. What brings you here?" David put his backpack on the couch and stood accross me

"I just wanted to visit you, to see how you are doing, you know" I took another sip from my late night coffee

"Yeah, you don't do it usually. There must be a reason why you came" He suspected me, not buying my excuses

"And who were you with?" I avoided his question.

"Why do you need to know?" He quickly returned

"You are such a pain in the ass... Just tell me, ugh!" Sometimes David could annoy me too much

"Did you see her?" He was searching around his backpack for something

"Her? So you were with a girl, huh?" I teased him and raised my eyebrow at him "Perhaps somebody got over Rose??" I nudged his shoulder

"Please don't mention her name... ever." He looked at me in both exhausted and serious way "And please, do not ship me with my best friend" He was disgusted at the thought of him and his best friend being more than friends

"Oh, she is your best friend? Good to know. What is her name?" A bad part of me was that I couldn't stop asking questions before I got to know what I wanted to

"Klea. We are friends since kindergarten. Why are you so curious tho? Did you spy us from the window" He joked

"I might have" I shrugged my shoulders "She looks familiar... was she born in Luton as well?"

"Yup. She just moved here." He took out his laptop and put it on the table "Poor thing was alone for 2 years... I will never leave her alone ever again" He opened his laptop and opened a document

"Her family was with her, weren't they? How can she be alone when her family was there" I said, walking behind him and looking at the laptop screen

"Shut up, you don't know what she has been through since I came here" He took my coffee from my hand and took a big gulp from it

"I am sure it's nothing much" I snatched my cup from him "Don't touch my coffee" I warned him

"Believe me, it's not nothing" He continued the previous topic

"Whatever..." That girl was the last thing I had to think about at that moment. I sat on the couch beside him and unlocked my phone, looking through my schedule for the next day.

A few moments of calm silence before David spoke again "So, you saw her?... And she looked familiar??" I snapped out of my thoughts and looked up my phone

"Yes, as if I have seen her somewhere before..." I tried remembering where I could have possibly seen her "But since she just moved here, it means I have mistaken her for someone else" I shook my head to stop myself from thinking It doesn't mater anyway

"Probably... And guess who she is going to stay for the semester with" He looked as if he was about to spill some tea

"Danielle?" I suggested since he had free space for another person in his dorm
