the moon needs the sun to survive, but the sun doesn't care about the moon. this is because the sun is to focused on earth. the sun never really gets to see or focuses on the moon, because the suns in the way. the moon needs the sun to physically survive. this metaphor can represent how much your presence means to someone, whether -like the sun- you don't know it. the moon will always be in the way of the moon and suns relationship, but the sun is the only thing keeping the moon alive. so much so, you could be the only thing keeping someone alive.
