Kennedy P.O.V.

I just got off the bus what a long day at school but I made it. I had grandpa on my mind all day I'm just pray I know God got him. I just need to pray and stay strong.

But I'm glad I made a new friend he sweet and kinda cute. I always had a crush on him sense freshman year. His name keveantae but I'm not trying to rush into anything yet I'm just try to be friends first.

"Granny"

I said walking in the House still no answer I guess granny took grandpa to the doctor.

I went in my room and started to do my homework when I got a text from keveantae.

Keveantae👅💦😘: You going be calling me big daddy tonight and to the movies.

Kennedy❤: Boy go somewhere with that chicken nugget and what time we going.

Keveantae👅💦😘: Never chicken nugget You want to see and 5 o'clock.

Granny P.O.V.

I'm Kennedy granny to everyone that know. I know Kennedy been under a lot of pressure she been stressing because her grandpa got cancer.

But I know this is all in God's plans God doesn't make mistakes everything happens for a reason. So if God decides to take Tony( grandpa) from me then it's fine because I know I'll see him again.

I had to take Tony to the doctor for his cemo therapy. So that's why I wasn't home with Kennedy I'm on my way back now.

But I don't want that child worrying her self to death I want her to live her life go out and have fun. And find her a nice respectful young man to date.

I just got home I put the key in the door but before I can open it Kennedy opened the door.

"Hey granny"

"Hey sugar plum you hungry I'm put on something to cook ."

"Where grandpa?"

"He sleeping child he tired let him sleep".

"Okay granny and I wanted to know can I go to the movies with my friend keveantae."

"Yes you can I want to meet this young man and just be back by curfew."

Keveantae P.O.V.

I'm so glad me and Kennedy are friends. I want to help her there's something in me that want to make her happy.

Because I know how it feels to lose someone close to you. I lost my little sister in a drive by shooting I can remember that day like it was yesterday.

I was sitting on the couch in the living room at my hommie Omar house we had just got done doing a drop.

"Keke there this black van that keep driving pass the house and I'm kinda scared."
