We arrive back to the academy in record time, only to be dragged off by our friends. We didn't even get a second glance at each other.

'Sorry.' I say.

'It's okay babe, see you soon.'

I sigh as the girls force me into the shower. I get under the warm water and wash my scalp feeling every problem wash away, today is going to be perfect.

I hear the girls banging on the door for me to hurry up and sigh loudly, is get out of the shower and wrap my body in a fluffy white towel.

I start towel drying my hair when I see something glistening on my windowsill, I notice the window open and I feel like my heart is going to rip out of my ribcage.

I step closer cautiously and see it's a locket. I gasp, it's the locket I keep seeing in my dreams. Either it's bouncing off the leaves in the forest or drowning in water.

I pick it up and turn it around, on the back it reads.

'To Maia, we love you. From your parents.'

I drop the locket as though it burned me and felt the tears in my eyes. My parents? Jace's parents? I look to the windowsill and see a note.

'This was left for you but the orphanage refused to give it to you. I got it back and thought it was perfect for the day you are introduced as official Luna.'

I wipe the few tears from my eyes and smile, this person dos all this for me? Wow I feel so loved, aha.

"Come on Maia!" Liz complained.

"We are like 100 years older by now!" Kate whined and they banged on the door some more.

I put the necklace on and walked out of the bathroom, as soon as I am out the girls grab me and shove me into a seat with mirrors in front of me.

Liz starts on my make up while Kate starts on my hair, I blush when I realise in still in only a towel and I grip it closer to my body.

A while later...

I gasp as I glance at the stranger in the mirror, oh wow. She is a princess, not me. She has a white dress on that is off both shoulders with a thin strap over each shoulder, it goes to mid-thigh and has an amazing decor.

My brown hair is pulled into a plaited bun with white flowers going through it and as for the shoes. Wow. They are white with sparkling jewels all over them, not to mention they are like tall heels.

My make is all natural colours except for the black eyeliner and mascara, also my lipstick is red. I also have on the necklace. I turn to the the girls and give hem a huge thumbs up.

"Thanks so much guys. I look awesome!" I say twirling but almost tripping because of the heels. The girls catch me and keep me straight.

"No probs girl!" Liz says clapping her hands excitedly.

"And you looks sexy!" Kate says before turning to Liz "we are good!"

They both high five and I giggle at them, giving myself one last glance at my outfit before there is a knock on the door.
