Nandini reach home and saw her mom is doing stitching....she shook her head in disbilief and huridly went towards and said " Amma maine bola tha na ke mai aane ke baad kar lungi ye....q aap ye phir se kar rahi hai...?"
" tu itni jaldi kaise aagayi?" Saraswati ignoring her question and herself ask her question
" vo aaj cafe band tha tou....mai aagayi ghar library ka kaam khatam kar ke." Nandini explain truthfully.
"Par cafe q band tha?" Her mother ask again.
" bcoz aunty ko koi wedding attend karni thi tou." She left her sentence in btw and continue " par aap ye q kar rahi ho..yahi soch ke na ke mai aaj late aa jaoongi....aap is baat ka fayda utha rahi hai Amma." Nandini scold her.
"Are beta ye mera kaam hai aur waise bhi tu aati tou thak jaati na .....tou bas mai ye karne lagi....fayda nai utha rahi hu kanna" Saraswati explain her calmly.
" but amma mai ye kar leti hu na tou q aap....chodhiye chaliye uthiye abhi." Nandini said.
" nai kanna thoda hi bacha hai ho jayga abhi." Saraswati said denying.
" nai aap uthiye....chaliye...phir ghutno (knees) ka dard leke baith jayegi aap." Nandini stated her worry.
" tu na jaa baat mat kar mujhse." Her mother said fake angrily and left the living room and went to kitchen.
Nandini too went behind her and saw her cutting vegetables.
"Sab ban gaya hai kya amma ya kuch baaki hai?" Nandini ask.
But saraswati kept mum.
"Amma amma ..."
"Kya hai? ?.....abhi tou mujhe daant rahi thi aur ab q aayi hai mere pass." Saraswati said but not looking at her.
"Amma aap ....ufff aap na samjhtI nai hai...ap hi bataiyye agar aap us sewing machine par bethi rahegi tou apke ghutno me dard hoga...phir aap koi kaam kaise karogi?" Nandini said understanding her.
"Ye bhi hai....par beta mai saara kaam tere sar par nai daal sakti na ." Saraswati said worrying.
"Amma plz aap fikar mat kijiye....mai sab kar lungi." Nandini said while holding her hand.
"Kaise na fikar karu kanna...kitna karegi tu." Saraswati said with moist eyes.
"Jitna ho sakta hai utna karungi...ye soch ke ke agar aaj zinda hu tou sirf aap logo ki wajah se varna aaj mai kisi nadi me bah rahi hoti. " Nandini said while her chin wobble.
"Nai kanna aisa na bol...pata hai tu kitni anmol(precious) hai ..hum lucky hai jo tu hame mili kanna," Saraswati said huging her.
Then they both start preparing lunch and aftersometime payal and satish came from their respectuve school and park.
They eat their lunh with talks then headed for nap.
