"You will never be enough. . . "

As those words rang in Lucielle's head, his eyes fluttered open, revealing icy blue eyes that conceals the emotions of the man, only coldness would appear. Squinting his eyes due to the illuminating bright light, Lucielle rubbed his temples to heal his migraine. Once Lucielle recovered from the light, he found himself in the middle of a white space, looking around, Lucielle could not decipher if this was a dream or a nightmare.

'. . .Where am I?" Lucielle wondered as he kept searching for an answer, a black orb entered his view of sight, particle effects lingering off the sphere. Once the orb appeared, Lucielle took the action to stretch his hand towards the orb, that is until the orb had large light blue and grey eyes. Lucielle stopped his hand from touching the orb but couldn't help but wonder, '. . .What are you?'

The orb suddenly went closer to the man but the man took a step back every time the sphere approached him. What seems like repeating tracks, the orb kept chasing him when Lucielle stopped in place. Lucielle struggled to move, as if a force is making him stay, his body not following his commands.

[Host. . . Please stop moving. . .]

Hearing the robotic voice, Lucielle looked around to only visibly see the black orb, confused, the voice replied to his confusion.

[Host, its me. The orb]

Answering Lucielle's question, his eyes immediately shot towards the orb, focusing on the item, Lucielle thought once again, "What are you?". As if the orb heard his question, the sphere came closer to the point where their eyes met.

[I am a system, and you are my host]

Lucielle tilted his head, in confusion, he tried to remember what happened before this.

'I believe I was walking reading a novel until...a truck hit me...'

'then, my vision went black...Doesn't that mean...'

Once Lucielle thought about this, he understood what situation he was in.

[Host, after that truck made contact with you, your soul immediately connected to system.]

'So did I die?' Lucielle questioned to confirm his thoughts.

[Yes, Host has died due to blood loss from the impact of the truck.]

[Host, is this information still too much to process?]

'No. . . It's better this way' Lucielle bluntly stated

[Anymore questions, Host?]

'No. . .'

[Are you sure Host?]

'Yep, I'm pretty sure.'

[Oh, okay. . .Then let's move on to business~]

[Host, my position is to guide Host through worlds in order to complete missions. E-points would be given out depending on the level of the missions, worlds are also displayed in levels as well]

As Lucielle listened to the system, a bright square screen appeared in front of him, information visibly seen.

[Host, here is the world system:

World Levels:

SSS - beyond difficulty (10,000,000 e-points)

SS - extreme difficulty (1,000,000 e-points)

S - immense difficulty (700,000 e-points)

A - high difficulty (500,000 e-points)

B - medium difficulty (300,000 e-points)

C - low difficulty (100,000 e-points)

D and below - lowest difficulty (50,000 e-points)]

[Depending on the world system, the difficulty will arrange from SSS; the most difficult, to D and below; the least difficult]

[The missions can give out e-points depending on how difficult the missions are, the maximum amount of e-points given would be limited to 10,000 e-points, points can be used to learn abilities and buy supplies and materials.]

'Can I choose the worlds I go to?'

[No Host, the worlds are randomly chosen by the higher ups, that goes beyond my controls]

[Before we enter to the tutorial world Host is given 10,000 e-points, would Host like to learn a ability?]

The screen that was already in front of Lucielle changed it's contents to display abilities.

Lucielle thought for a long period of time before choosing his options, he was practically an expert for all of the options available in his previous life except fluent language, thus that option became his choice.
