You can declare me strong,

lift mine spirit higher than skyline prolonged...

till stars are gone,

though - one promise's - like most I bend at knees,

with every chance silence gives appease,

What would those comprehend about the multi-sided

chokehold?

blank staring into scenic cold,

Whose soul did my hands get ahold?

Hope wherever mine has gone...

went far away to grander home;

emotional clutter all over the place,

starting to unrecognize the once benevolent face,

mirror harboring truth mixed with dashes of disarray;

enclosed underneath glass case,

envision portraying heart to disengage,

Was one meant to ever dig a way to escape?

Still carry belief in dreams visiting -

cemented walls bear youthful wishes foisting through squeezing,

intake gestures glistening,

maybe bargain again to whom may be listening,

beg higher powers... return even fraction of departed core

to reface & riveting;

surely would be eager ripping out inner inhibiting,

hurdle off this doomed path crippling,

Just want to witness once more, night bursting of lights

twinkling.
