*Standing by innocently,
a warmth hovered silently...
covering hidden wounds valiantly;
misunderstanding the direction of shame,
took too many years understanding I wasn't to blame;
some problems existed before one was named,
but was mine hurt worth trade?so, I stared inside,
pulled out interwoven miseries,
that've held mine hand incessantly;though...
still,
never did I entice,
worked wonders behind fragile disguise -
terrified world would never cease falling down,
as one carried greater than weight
& yet, now I continue to wonder how;And I ask through pride:
can your love infold me tonight...
wear off effects of haunting past lives...
Ward afar, sharpness of light...
kiss away emotional fight -
hope to promise this'll end all soon,
as I forcefully breakdown & pry open nailed cocoon;let one take ahold of these memories,
cover 'em far beneath,
soft ground deep,supply stable air to breathe,
as they wash from me,
efficiently.
