Disused warehouse

Y/N's POV

The warehouse is in sight, hope that informant was right... I open the back door, being careful not to make any noise. There was a ladder on my right, I got up and find myself on a catwalk a few meters above the ground. I can hear some people talking in the distance, I slowly get closer to the sound. I suddenly heard someone sobbing, as the voice became more and more clear. Several meters later and still on the catwalk, I spot 5 armed people: 2 on the catwalk and 3 others in front of a chair lit by a projector. I turned to look at the chair and saw a young pink-haired girl with a black eye and some horrible injuries on her arms.

Natsuki. He was right after all.

Loud noise and a cry of pain took me out of my thoughts. One of the three men in front of her just hit her hard in the gut. I can't wait anymore, I need to do something. She's strong but if they keep going... I slowly draw myself closer to one of the 2 guys standing on the catwalk. Right beside me was a barrel and on top of it, a screwdriver. That'll be perfect.

I got close to him and without a second thought, I drove the screwdriver through his leg and struggled him for him to not shout in pain. I could feel him let loose and he finally fell unconscious, I drag him further and hide his body behind some barrels in the dark. Once it was done, I get closer to the second one, but he was way more closer to his other friends so I took no risk and fatally hit him in the neck with the screwdriver while covering his mouth. After putting him down, I get myself up and look towards Natsuki. And I don't know how, but her gaze meets mine, I quickly put my finger over my mouth to make her understand to not make any noise. She slowly and quietly nods with shining eyes.

Three left and I can't neutralize them without any noise. I got close to the three and took a hold of one them, keeping him against me as a shield. The two others turn around but they didn't have the time to react. I took my suppressed pistol and shot them both, making them fall to the ground, unconscious. The one that I'm still holding is struggling to get out of my grip, but I suddenly tighten my grip, earning a snap. He falls to the ground, unconscious. I got close to Natsuki and untied her, removing the ropes that were holding her arms and legs and the scarf that was in her mouth. Right after I finished untying her, she jumped into my arms, crying. I wrapped my arms around her and hold her as close to me as I can while soothing her and caressing her back, her head against my chest. She looks up and presses her lips against mine. After several seconds, we broke apart.

Y/N: "Are you okay?"

Natsuki: "Y-Yes, I am."

Y/N: "Can you walk?"

Natsuki: "I-I think..."

I hold her close to me as she continues to cry on my jacket. Feeling her against me relaxes me enormously, as the adrenaline of the moment begins to dissipate. But I quickly got sent back to reality and I realized that we were still in the safe-house of a terrorism organization.

Y/N: "Natsuki, we gotta go, it's dangerous here."

She nods and we make our way towards the exit. We quickly approach the door, the sooner we will be gone, the better, especially if-

???: "And where do you think you're going?"

I turned around, put Natsuki behind me, took my pistol, and shot the last bullets of the magazine in the direction of the voice.

???: "Tsk tsk tsk. Rule number 1: Analyze before firing. You should know that, shouldn't you? I really underestimated you Hawk, or should I say, Y/N. Taking care of my best men in just a few minutes, impressive."

He has a Russian accent, Natsuki was trembling and I heard her whisper.

Natsuki: "That voice..."
