Sitting in the hospital room, with Aurora crawling around, playing with her toys at my feet, i look at Bella.
She's not dead, she can't be.
I walk up to her and i place my hand on her wrist, to feel her pulse and, sure enough, i feel a beat.
I sigh as i look over her fragile figure.
I hear Aurora cooing and i turn around to find her gesturing for me to pick her up.
I smile as i walk away from Bella and i pick my daughter up, in my arms.
I pick up her toy and i go to walk out of the room when i turn around and i look at her one last time.
"You will be ok, sis, you have to be"

After saying goodbye to the Cullen's and driving to meet Jacob next to La Push lake, i get out of the car, walking a few steps to get to his truck.
"Did you get everything?" I ask him and he nods, sadly "This will be good for us, we will make a new pack with Leah and Seth" I say and Jacob nods
"I just wish it could have worked out differently" He says and i sigh
"We all do" I tell him, looking at Aurora "But i think being a new pack will better us, at least we know who are truly loyal to us" I say to him and as if i planned it, Leah rolls up next to us and she gets out of her car with Seth.
I look at her, from looking down the hill and across the beach.
I smile at them both and i hug Leah and Jacob pats Seth on the back.
"You two got all of your things?" I ask them and they both nod
"Yes, we're fully packed, it's time to hit the road" Leah says and i smile, nodding while walking back over to my car and placing Aurora in her seat in the back and i walk around, getting behind the wheel.

After driving for around 15 minutes, we all pull up at the house that we had all looked at and agreed it would be perfect.
It's not too big, but its big enough for us 5.
I get Arora out of her seat and we walk up to the house entrance.

I open the door and we walk inside.
I smile as i turn to the others
"Now that we've got the house, the next thing to do is to find you both mates" I say as i turn to them and i see their mouths open
"You mean you will actually help us find them?" Seth asks me as Jacob comes and stands next to me, his arm going around my waist
"Of cause we will, we don't want you to be stuck here if your mates in Australia" I tell them
"Sam never let us look for them, he always said that we had to stay with the pack, in Forks, and, as you know, there is not many people in Forks" Seth says
"Well it's a good job that I'm an Alpha, not Seth anymore" Jacob says and i smile at him.

After a few days of officially living in the pack house, i get a phone call as i sit on the couch, in the living room.
"Hello?" I say, answering it as i glance at the TV
"Kate?" I hear Edward say down the phone
"That's my name, don't where it out" I say to him, but he doesn't laugh
