Chapter 31- High Rise Fire

Harper races up the stairs to discover Amelias leg trapped under a fallen unit.
"Are you hurt?" Harper shouts
"No im okay!" Amelia replies
"On the count of 3 were both going to lift this!" Harper shouts
"Got it Captain!" A firefighter shouts
"1...2...3!" Harper shouts as the both lift it
Amelia gets out and the drop the unit.
"Take Amelia down! I'll get the victims!" Harper shouts
They walk out and Harper looks in all of the rooms
"Fire department call out!" Harper shouts
No one calls out so Harper walks out. She in on the 19th floor and her radio goes off
"I need help with some victims!" Kelly says over the radio
"What floor?" Chief asks
"15!" Kelly replies
"I'm on 19 chief! I'll help him!" Harper says
Harper runs down and opens the door. The fire is spreading and fast
"Kelly? Call out!" Harper shouts
"In here!" Kelly shouts
Harper walks in and finds Kelly sitting with twin babies. A boy and a girl
" I need to get them out!" Kelly says
"We can't take them back! They wouldn't make it!" Harper says as she gets an idea
"What?" Kelly asks confused
"Ropes! We can do a rope rescue!" Harper says finding ropes in the corner of the room
"Harper we're on the 15th floor!" Kelly says shocked
"And? I'll get 81 ready for us!" Harper says
"Okay 81! Inflate the airbag! Me and Kelly are going to do a rope rescue!" Harper says through the radio
Everyone outside looks at each other in shock
"Bailey! Severide!" Chief riddle says through the radio
"We will be fine chief!" Harper replies
Kelly is cradling the babies
"They remind me of Hunter and Maria!" Kelly says as Harper sets up the rope
"They do don't they?" Harper says as she secures the rope
"Okay you first!" Harper says
"Okay! Kelly says securing the little boy into him
"You better take the girl as well just in case it falls whilst I'm on it!" Harper says passing the little girl to Kelly
"Are you sure?" Kelly says looking a little worried
"Yes! Go down to the 10th floor and 81 will be ready for you!" Harper says as she lowers down Kelly
He makes it down safely and it's Harper's turn. She is going all the way down. She lowers herself down. She gets halfway down and her foot slips causing her to lose her balance. She quickly gets it back and can see Kelly looking worried on the ground along with the rest of 51.
"Okay Harper! Just a little more to go!" Harper says to herself
She goes the rest of the way and gets down on the ground safely. Everyone runs over and Kelly pulls her into a hug
"Don't do that ever again!" Kelly whispers in her ear as he hugs her
"I won't!" Harper says with a shaky voice
